Day 13 - Animal

Made these Diaper Cakes earlier this month. Perfect as they can go under today's theme "Animal". These cake toppers were created using Little Scraps of Heaven Design's cut files... I believe the set is called "Zoo Critters Vol 1". I forgot how fun it is to paper piece!!! Loved creating these adorable animals. Can't really tell, but I edged the pieces using Pan Pastels.

Thanks for stopping by!! Hope you're having a great time playing along with my daily challenges. You can find the link to the challenge post at the top of my blog, and the list itself can be found within the right column of my blog.

Aloha,
Jen

Scripture Challenge Project - Week 1

Here is my finished project from last week's scripture challenge... I totally forgot to post!!!!

Used the bunny stamps from Mama Elephant, and LSHD's print and trace digital image. I also used pan pastels to color the page.

This was also counted towards Little C's Daily Challenges - Day 5: "Banner" as I added a little banner on the corner of the page (small cheat). :)

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Finished Christmas Bear Tags And A Busy Weekend!!!

Happy Monday Blessed Friends!!! How was your weekend?? Ours was So BUSY!!! I attended 3 parties this weekend.... and it just seems to get crazier n' busier as we approach Christmas. :) But Praise God, HE keeps me busy for HIS Kingdom, and I'm happy to be doing just that. :)

First, I had my hair done on Friday... I had the highlights removed (or toned down), and then the colors blended to an ombre look. Just thought I'd wanna do something different, so my hair stylist did just that. I was attending a Women's Church function that evening, so I asked for her to curl my ends... she did a spectacular job!!!!

Then here are some pics from the evening's festivities.... my sistahs of the same Heavenly Father!

On Saturday from 9am - 3pm, we went Christmas shopping... what a LONG day that was, and at night, we attended our friend's party, who lived up the street... they had a bunch of door prizes and games, karaoke and just a lot of fun hanging out and eating together. On Sunday, we headed to church, and then to our church's Baptism event. I helped with taking pics of those that were baptized. Then at night, another Christmas party with our Bible Fellowship next door. Phew!!! What a weekend. I am pooped..... but there is no stopping yet. Gotta get to WORK and jamm this week, so that I can finish everything before next weekend... accccckkkk!!!! Christmas is right around the corner!!!!!

I was able to finish the Bear tags, so wanted to share with you how they turned out... so here ya go!!!!

I am able to cut and create 15 at a time, which is a miracle for me, cause I don't like to create mutiples, but I guess it is because these are NEEDED, so I just gotta make them?? I just love that I have this availability to create them at any needed moment. Thank You, Lord!!!  As you've seen from my previous post, I cut these images out on my Sizzx eClips2 machine. I first printed them on my printer, using the Print 2 Cut feature on the eCal program. Then cut them out. Used glue to layer the tags, and foam tape dimensionals from SU! to pop the bear. I have a bunch of dimensionals from SU!, and I wanna use them up so that I can move on to the next set of foam tapes I have. Are you like me?? I have to finish them all up, before opening a new package. And I want to open and use the foam tape packages that I purchased from FSJ, but just can't do it until I'm done with these!!! LOL!!!!  Anyways, I put a light blue ribbon through the hole, and then tied the ribbon with a silver cord. It turned out SO cute!!!!

Today, I am working on making more tags. Will hope to share them with you here soon!!! Have a blessed week. Take your time in doing things... have a "Merry Christmas" and not a "Martha Christmas"....

With Love In Christ,
Jen

Happy 13th Birthday Son

My boy turned 13 yesterday... so blessed to see the young man he is growing into. Praying that he will continue to seek the ways of the Lord, and know that he is loved loved loved by all of his family.  I pray that he will be able to overcome all obstacles in life, and that in every aspect, he will always keep his mind & heart set on the Lord, so that he will know in which way he must go. :)   I just put this LO together real quick, so I could post on to FB. didn't really do much embellishments but the wording. Pics are all from within this year, except for the one in the upper right hand, I believe he was about 3 years old when that one was taken. Just wanted to add a before n' after pic...

Here's what I'm working on today... I'm sure gonna be working on more. Making some Christmas tags. Trying to make as many as possible at one time. The Sizzix eClips2 surely comes in handy for me during these time that I need a lot of things to be cut. Gonna be using LSHD digital images on my Christmas tags. So Easy!!!!

Jen

Thanksgiving Is Over

Aloha Crafty Friends!!!

Now that Thanksgiving is over... it's time for the Christmas RUSH! LOL... honestly, I finished most of my Christmas shopping online for my family n' friends, done the day after Thanksgiving. Now, just gotta do the finishing touches of some of our family on the mainland, my boys n' my parents. So glad that I got majority of it done. However, that doesn't mean that I'm free to do anything... actually, December is the craziness and busiest for me as a wife to my hubs. Because he is invited to Christmas Company's Parties, and we are blessed to go and show our appreciation for their business. It's fun. We always see the same peeps every year, and look forward to the next year of seeing them again. :) God is GOOD!!!!  So, unfortunately, I won't be hosting any Crafty Sessions until' January, 2018.

^This is a pic of our turkey that my hubby made for Thanksgiving. He always blesses us by cooking up a feast for Thanksgiving. I have never made a turkey in my life. Which I'm sad to say, because I so want to make one. But he insists on making it every Thanksgiving, so just gonna be happy n' enjoy the blessing that the Lord has given me... my hubby!!!!  We usually host a big gathering, but we decided to take a break and just have a quiet Thanksgiving together, as family. It was really nice to have a lot of left overs this year. LOL!!!

So today, I am sharing with you a few cards that I had made, starting with these cards that I made to complete the Birthday Card order I had. I am no longer taking card/project orders for the rest of the year, because I'm working on Christmas cards for myself. LOL!

Here are the 2 cards that completed my Birthday Card order:

Here's what I used:

  • Pineapple Image: LSHD Digitals
  • Hula Girl: Create In Me Stamp (Colored w/Copics)
  • Pennant Die Cut: Lawn Fawn (Used on FSJ Platinum Machine)
  • Twine: Amazon
  • Cardstock, DSP, Sentiment: Stampin' Up!
I also decided that I was gonna make and send out handmade cards this year. Thanks Ali for the encouragement n' push to create handmade instead of photo cards. I gotta make at least 50. Have already made 16? But here are a few I worked on...

I'm working on 4 at a time. Praying that with this goal, I'll be done way before Christmas.

Here's what I used to create the cards above:

  • Moose, Stars & Stripes: LSHD Digitals (Moose is a Print2Cut on my eClips2 machine).
  • Twine: FSJ
  • Cardstocks: Stampin' Up!
  • Sentiment: My Stash (unknown)
I'll be sharing more of my Christmas projects so stay tuned!!  Thanks for visiting.

Jen

2 Page Digital LO Thanksgiving 2016

Aloha friends!! How are you today?? I am sharing with you a 2-page digital page layout that I created using LSHD's "Let's Feast" digital kit, and pics from our Thanksgiving Feast of 2016. I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is right around the corner!!!! I have been SO behind on my digital scrapbooking pages. Like YEARS behind.  Now a days, I just create as I need to. Boo. Love how easy to use these products are. I used photoshop elements to put my pages together. Each will be printed on 12x12 scrapbook pages.

Click on the image to see an enlarged version.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Thanks for visiting!!!

Happy Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Aloha All!!! On October 16th, 2013, I had a bilateral mastectomy done to remove breast tissues in both of my breasts. :) Just wanna say Happy Breast Removal Anniversary to me. The Lord has been so faithful to bring me to it, and brought me through it. I am truly grateful that I am still here to share this time with my family and friends. In celebration of this anniversary, our friend who is also a Bomber Eyewear Rep got me this pair of pink shades. So very happy to receive them, and so happy to sport them!! Thank You Lord, for your continued provisions and blessings!!!

Now, do I have a project to share?? Ya bet I do!!! Here's another card I created using the digitally colored dragon from LSHD. This turned out so cute. Love these adorable digital images. The embossed background and die cuts are from FSJ. :)

May your week continue to be blessed, and thank you for sharing this memory with me, and celebrating with my the life that the Lord allowed me to continue.

With Love In Christ,
Jen

Treat Time!!

Happy Tuesday!!! Hope you are enjoying your week thus far. I am here to share with you a card created using Little Scraps of Heaven Designs digital image. On the bear, I used Fun Flock for his "fur". Just add a little glue where you want the fun flock to stick, and add like embossing powder. After a few seconds, simply remove the excess fun flock by dusting off, like embossing powder.

Stitched die cuts are from FSJ. Paper is Doodlebug. So cute, huh???

Well, thanks for stopping by!! Have a blessed week!!!

With Love In Christ,
Jen

Sending Birthday Hugs

Happy Aloha Friday!!! If you haven't already heard, my Little C's Aloha Friday Challenges has been put on hold for now. Thank you to all of you that played along and made it fun while it lasted. :)

This adorable card was created using Little Scrap of Heaven Design's colored digital image. I just printed out the colored digital and then cut it on my eClips2 machine. :) The feature on this machine is called "Print 2 Cut". I love this feature, because you can even cut out stamped images as well. I did a video on how to do this, real simple and easy to do.

The clouds are from Fun Stampers Journey, and I love the stitching around the edges. I don't like the embossed look that it created, tho'. Maybe I'll figure out how to get rid of that later. The Embossed background is also from a FSJ product.

Thanks for stopping by!! Starting this week, I will no longer be posting on Saturday n' Sundays. But will be back come Mondays. I'm just trying to figure some things out, and finding a balance in all that I am already doing. So, please don't think I've disappeared, simply just taking a break from blogging during the weekends.

With Love In Christ,
Jen

Decorated Planner

Here is a planner I worked on a couple of weeks ago. This is for a week's layout. I don't really have time to decorate each week, but when I have the desire to, I just love decorating with all the cute stuffs!!! These "sticker" looking things are actually FREE printables I found online at PlannerAddiction.com. The adorable bear, mailbox and heart sun are all from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs and Digis. That set is called "Sending With Love".

I cut all images n' pieces by hand. Picture taken before I wrote all my details. It sure is so much fun to write n' fill in the spots.  I also adhered each piece onto my page using glue.

I love how adorable this turned out!!! Thanks for stopping by!!!

Little C's Aloha Friday Challenge - Things With Strings

Happy Aloha Friday Gang!!!! It's time for another Little C's Aloha Friday Challenge!!!! But first, our WINNER from last week!!!! This week's winner is:

Melissa SunshineHoneyBee!!!!

Going into this week's challenge, it's pretty simple... the theme is:

"Things with STRINGS"

Simply use string or twine on your project. Ribbons will NOT be accepted. Here is my sample project. I created this card using Little Scraps of Heaven Designs Digi!!!! I am on the DT of this paper piecing company, and the owner has most recently started creating digitals, and we have been trying to incorporate more projects using them.  You will find that she has these in a COMBO set, where not only the cut files are available, but colored AND outlined digitals are included. You should check it out if you LOVE digitals.....

So, here is my take on this week's challenge....

As you can see... the "strings" are tied at the top of my cards, but even in the image, there are "strings" attached to the balloons. So go ahead, and try n' create using this theme... have fun with it, and don't forget to add your project to the link button below.

2 Months Later

Ahhh... 2 months later, and here I am again. I have just be so caught up in so many things. But, the other day, I was thinking about my blog and how it has been ignored. I want to write more and share more of my day and created projects. So, I'm gonna try this again!!! :) Is anyone out there still reading my blog?? Well if you are, I hope you enjoy what I have to share with you here.

Here are a couple of my recent projects created with Little Scraps of Heaven Design's cut files...

This first project is my planner of the month of April. I used the "Sweet Treat Mouse" cut file, and also the digital files together with that set. The word stamps are all from The Greeting Farm stamps.

This adorable tag was created with the cut file "Dragon" and sun from "Lamb of God". The alphabet stamps are from Sweet & Sassy Stamps. She turned out so cute. BTW, did anyone hear about the new dragon drink Starbucks came out with? Ya, I think I'm sticking to only this kind of adorable dragon. LOL...

Oh, and these... I can't remember if I posted them or not. A friend asked me if I could make her kids Disney autograph books for their trip to Disneyland. So here is what I came up with. I used the cut file "Magical 3D" cut file set. This set comes with about 7 different cut files that has to do with Disney characters.

That's all folks. Time to start my busy Saturday. I hope I will be able to do more blogging and share more projects with all of you.

Blessings,
Jen

Little Scraps of Heaven Designs Tuesday

Sharing a LSHD project today. Something simple to create n' fast to whip up. I used the colored digital images from Little Scraps of Heaven Design's "Bear on Moon" cut file, and printed the images out on white cardstock. Then typed in the little poem that I found to the bottom of the cardstock.

I created this card for a dear friend that lost her 7 month old son back in February. Giving a book to her with this card, praying that the book will bring some comfort during this time of grieving.

Thanks for visiting with me!!!

Created these cards for Mother's Day... and I also created a video to show how I created these cards. Scroll down below after the pics to watch the video!

The bending arrow die cut is from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs' "Girl Elements" cut file. The stamp set that I used is Stampin' Up!'s Painted Petals, background stamp I used is called "Hardwood" also a Stampin' Up! stamp. The sentiment on the inside is from Stampin' Up!'s "Crazy About You" stamp set.

"Q" is for "Quad"

Aloha and Welcome back to another week of Alphabet Challenges!!! We are on the letter "Q" - again, I am late this week with posting this challenge, only because I was challenged to figure out what "Q" was going to stand for. I finally got the idea late last night, thus I had to create my project this morning!!

Ok, so before we go on to this week's challenge, let's find out who our winner is from last week's challenge. The winner is:

Shartl and here is her adorable Pink n' Polka Dot Card:
Thank you all who had submitted their project(s), I loved seeing each of your posts!!!  Sharlt, please email me your mailing address, and I will get a goodie out to you!!

Now on to this week's challenge... we are on the letter "Q" - and "Q" is going to be for "Quad". What is a "Quad" you say?? Here is the meaning of "Quad": "a set of something that comes in four units".
So, for this week's challenge... all you gotta do is use 4 of the same things on your project, so on my sample, I used a Quad of green squares (behind my sleeping rabbit). Here is my sample...

I am also submitting my project to the following fun challenges:
And now, it's your turn!!! Create and post a link to your project here:

Have an EGGstra Special Day

Aloha All!!! Happy Aloha Friday!!!!  I finally got a chance to work on my challenge project for this week's challenge. Kinda late, but hey, better late than NEVER. :)  So here is my challenge for this week's Fun Cuts Alphabet Challenge. If you haven't joined in on the challenge yet, you can find it here. We are on the letter "P" and the theme is "P" is for "Pink and Polka Dots". All you gotta do is use Pink n' Polka Dots on your project. The dots don't have to be pink, just be sure to add pink on there.  Here is my take on this week's challenge:

I had so much fun working on this project. I created it using Little Scraps of Heaven Design's FREEBIE cut file for the week. I also used The Greeting Farm's clear stamps for the eggs and the sentiment. Worked together perfectly. The cardstock that I used is from Bazzill Basics. The die cuts that I used are the Oval Stiched Die cuts from MFT, and SVG Cuts from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.

Ok, I am also submitting this project to the following fun challenges:
Thanks for stopping by!!! You've blessed me!!!

Aloha,
Jen
