Planner Layout June 1st-7th with Process Video

A Really sweet n' simple layout / decoration of my planner for this week. I didn't wanna add too much, because I didn't wanna over do it. Looks simple n' easy enough to do. I still need to fill with things that needs to get done this week, so don't want to spend a whole lot of time working on decorating it. Anyways, thanks for stopping by and checking it out. My Process Video is posted below the image. What I used: - Printer Paper - The Greeting Farm Stamp Sets: Tiny Plans & Heart Flutter - Pan Pastels - Make up Sponges - Richard Garay Inks

Virtually Crafting with Patty

Aloha Crafty Friends,

Last week, my hubby's team (49rs) went to the NFC Championship game against Greenbay Packers, and WON!!! I am not much of a football game watcher, but I was excited that he would be watching the game, so that I could hide in my craft room while it was one, and PLAY!!! But then, I was thinking, who would I play with?? Well, I put it up on my FB Group to invite anyone that might be interested in crafting with me virtually, and my crafty digi-diva friend Patty was happy to join me. I believe we were on video for at least 2 hours. LOL!!! But Patty did most of the creating, and I did most of the talking. Those of you that know me, know that this sounds very familiar. It was nice to catch up and talk stories. Right before we got off, I finally got into the mood of creating and got going. I had a lot of fun creating with her on the other end of my computer. Will need to do it again. If you'd like to join us the next time we virtually create, let me know. I use "Google Hangouts" and all you need is the link to connect to all of us. May even start thinking of doing virtual online crafty classes. That would be fun, right?? I can host up to 25 peeps. So... we shall see!!

Here is a pic of Patty n' I....

And here is what I ended up creating, just printed a couple of images from the "Stick Together" RG Avenue stamp set, and decorated my calendar in my planner. Not a huge spread... but it was something!

Here is what I used:

  • "Stick Together" RG Avenue Digital Stamp Set
  • eCal2 Program
  • Sizzix eClips2 Machine
  • Copic Sketch Markers
  • Happy Planner

Sunday was also a sad sad day in Hawaii Nei... there was a shooting in Diamond Head, where there were multiple deaths, including 2 HPD Officers. Please keep these families in your prayers, as they mourn the lost of their loved ones. Those men n' women in blue risk their lives everyday, and it was just so sad to hear that they were gunned down. Hug your family members, and let them know you love them. Tomorrow may never come for us, one day!

Aloha,
Jen

Adorable Planner Clips

Happy Aloha Friday!!!

Sharing some planner clips I created using digital images from RG Studio 360's digital stamp set called "Tiki-Riffic". I love all these cute designs that I created with... the Honu, Ukulele, Tiki, Monstera Leaf, Toucan, and a Pineapple. I printed them on my computer, cut them out, and then had each of them laminated, and I a hot glue gun to apply the paper clip to each image. I like the coated clips to make these, because it adds some color to my projects.

Here is a page layout I created for my scrapbook/planner. Added some flowers from the same set, and added the clips all over the pages.

Here is a banner I created, which was part of RG Studio 360's "Birthday Balloons" and I added the pineapple to create a little DSP action going on.

Another page... showing the left page corner...

Here is my full page layout, pretty simple. You can see that I also created some digital washi tapes with the same pineapple design.

I feel like I need to learn to use more stamps and colors on my planner pages. I do want to do more, but always feel like it takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R to do a page.  I guess that is why I enjoy digital scrapbooking more than hands on scrapbooking. Maybe I will go back and add something more... we'll see... I will definitely share if I do.

Anyways, today is also the LAST DAY of August, which means we are on the last day of August's Daily Challenge. I will be posting September's Challenge list here shortly. Thank You to those that have been playing along. I have mostly seen people on FB playing along, but would love to have more peeps that read my blog to play along too. I will think about adding a linkz list so that this can happen.

Hope your day is a blessed one!!!!

Aloha,
Jen

Decorated Planner

Here is a planner I worked on a couple of weeks ago. This is for a week's layout. I don't really have time to decorate each week, but when I have the desire to, I just love decorating with all the cute stuffs!!! These "sticker" looking things are actually FREE printables I found online at PlannerAddiction.com. The adorable bear, mailbox and heart sun are all from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs and Digis. That set is called "Sending With Love".

I cut all images n' pieces by hand. Picture taken before I wrote all my details. It sure is so much fun to write n' fill in the spots.  I also adhered each piece onto my page using glue.

I love how adorable this turned out!!! Thanks for stopping by!!!

June Planner

Aloha Crafty Crafters...

Here is my June planner page that I worked on! I used products from: Stampin' Up!; Pink & Main; Sweet & Sassy; CC Designs; Copic Markers & Gel Pens!!!

Hope your week is going well. I just purchased another planner for the months of July 2017 - August 2018 - it seems planners are available half way through the year too. This one that I purchased is 8-1/2 x 11, a little bigger than this one that I just decorated. Looking forward in dressing that one up. The months are going by too quickly, if you ask me!!! :(

2 Months Later

Ahhh... 2 months later, and here I am again. I have just be so caught up in so many things. But, the other day, I was thinking about my blog and how it has been ignored. I want to write more and share more of my day and created projects. So, I'm gonna try this again!!! :) Is anyone out there still reading my blog?? Well if you are, I hope you enjoy what I have to share with you here.

Here are a couple of my recent projects created with Little Scraps of Heaven Design's cut files...

This first project is my planner of the month of April. I used the "Sweet Treat Mouse" cut file, and also the digital files together with that set. The word stamps are all from The Greeting Farm stamps.

This adorable tag was created with the cut file "Dragon" and sun from "Lamb of God". The alphabet stamps are from Sweet & Sassy Stamps. She turned out so cute. BTW, did anyone hear about the new dragon drink Starbucks came out with? Ya, I think I'm sticking to only this kind of adorable dragon. LOL...

Oh, and these... I can't remember if I posted them or not. A friend asked me if I could make her kids Disney autograph books for their trip to Disneyland. So here is what I came up with. I used the cut file "Magical 3D" cut file set. This set comes with about 7 different cut files that has to do with Disney characters.

That's all folks. Time to start my busy Saturday. I hope I will be able to do more blogging and share more projects with all of you.

Blessings,
Jen

Decorated September Calendar Planner

Aloha all... another thing that I have dived into is planners. Actually, I've always had a planner, I just haven't decorated and make them all cutesy before, other than using all types of different colored pens. My dear friend, Ali, she has open another door and showed me how peeps are decorating and playing with their planners. My first thought was, WHAAAAT??? I swore at that time I didn't think anything of it, and thought to myself that I just have NO TIME to be playing with my planner, and besides, at the end of the year, it'll go into the trash, right?  Well, with decorated pages, maybe I'll kinda make it into a journaling planner, and end up keeping it just for myself in the future... what do ya think??

So here is my 1st decorated page in my planner book, which is actually my calendar. I used Little Scraps of Heaven Design's "September Title" to decorate this month's page. I am planning on decorating my planner here n' there. But like I mentioned above, I think I will make it more like a journal calendar, come next year.... or maybe I should practice, NOW??? Hmmmmm....  Anything to play with paper, right??

Well, thanks for popping in, and thank you for sharing a little bit of your day with me.

Aloha,
Jen
