Winter Rose Digital Freebie from RG Studio

Aloha Gang, hope you are crafting well... it's already Thursday!!! Wanted to share this card with you all that I've made. Created it using a freebie digital download from RG Studio 360. It is called "Winter Rose". I love digital downloads because you can size them to whatever size it is that you need, and then print them out, and color immediately after you've purchased and downloaded them. If you haven't tried digital images yet, you should give them a try. I use a variety of types of stamps, and there is no way that I'm giving up the clear or rubber stamps. However, if they have the digital image available, you better believe it that I'll be going for that purchase instead. Saves me on time, money, gas or shipping fees!! Anywhere where I can save a buck and still get the same image quality (and MORE - since I can enlarge or decrease it's size), I will go for it. :)

Ok, enough of my reasonings on why I love digital images... on to my project....

First, I downloaded and cut on my eClips Machine

I printed it on Grace Pacific White Cardstock, then colored with Copic Sketch Markers

Here are the pics of the finished product, I created it into an easel card:

Scripture sentiment is from Stampendous. Have a blessed day!! Thanks for stopping by!!!

Finished Christmas Bear Tags And A Busy Weekend!!!

Happy Monday Blessed Friends!!! How was your weekend?? Ours was So BUSY!!! I attended 3 parties this weekend.... and it just seems to get crazier n' busier as we approach Christmas. :) But Praise God, HE keeps me busy for HIS Kingdom, and I'm happy to be doing just that. :)

First, I had my hair done on Friday... I had the highlights removed (or toned down), and then the colors blended to an ombre look. Just thought I'd wanna do something different, so my hair stylist did just that. I was attending a Women's Church function that evening, so I asked for her to curl my ends... she did a spectacular job!!!!

Then here are some pics from the evening's festivities.... my sistahs of the same Heavenly Father!

On Saturday from 9am - 3pm, we went Christmas shopping... what a LONG day that was, and at night, we attended our friend's party, who lived up the street... they had a bunch of door prizes and games, karaoke and just a lot of fun hanging out and eating together. On Sunday, we headed to church, and then to our church's Baptism event. I helped with taking pics of those that were baptized. Then at night, another Christmas party with our Bible Fellowship next door. Phew!!! What a weekend. I am pooped..... but there is no stopping yet. Gotta get to WORK and jamm this week, so that I can finish everything before next weekend... accccckkkk!!!! Christmas is right around the corner!!!!!

I was able to finish the Bear tags, so wanted to share with you how they turned out... so here ya go!!!!

I am able to cut and create 15 at a time, which is a miracle for me, cause I don't like to create mutiples, but I guess it is because these are NEEDED, so I just gotta make them?? I just love that I have this availability to create them at any needed moment. Thank You, Lord!!!  As you've seen from my previous post, I cut these images out on my Sizzx eClips2 machine. I first printed them on my printer, using the Print 2 Cut feature on the eCal program. Then cut them out. Used glue to layer the tags, and foam tape dimensionals from SU! to pop the bear. I have a bunch of dimensionals from SU!, and I wanna use them up so that I can move on to the next set of foam tapes I have. Are you like me?? I have to finish them all up, before opening a new package. And I want to open and use the foam tape packages that I purchased from FSJ, but just can't do it until I'm done with these!!! LOL!!!!  Anyways, I put a light blue ribbon through the hole, and then tied the ribbon with a silver cord. It turned out SO cute!!!!

Today, I am working on making more tags. Will hope to share them with you here soon!!! Have a blessed week. Take your time in doing things... have a "Merry Christmas" and not a "Martha Christmas"....

With Love In Christ,
Jen

A RAK From Cheryl - Life is Sweet...

Hey Sistahs,

Lookie what I got from Cheryl of Life is Sweet. I actually won this, it was the prize for Cheryl's blog candy a while back. I went to J's Knicknacks to shop, and she had left it there for me to pick up. Cliff, Cheryl's hubby, threw in the cute lil' flower stamp... Adorable, ain't it?!?!

Thanks Cheryl, it's the cutest!!!

Hugs,
Jen

Diaper Favor

Quick post - I have to go and get CY4 from school, so I'm going to hurry this along. Here is a diaper favor. Made the pretty much the same way I did this one, except that I now have the flaps showing, and both top flaps are folded inside. I slipped a small packet of Mn'M's into the pocket to give you an idea of how big this favor actually is. Does it look like a diaper? I added the Sizzlit die cut of the safety pin so that it'll be recognizable. LOL!!

Check out the one I did for my TAC blog... it's even FUNNIER!!!

Have a good day, sisters!!

Baby Favor Tube

I have an exclusive class to make baby favors this weekend. This class is for couple of my close friends, that want me all to themselves. That is the reason why I've made my classes the way they are (see sidebar), because this allows me to have a class based on the schedule of my attendees and they get to decide with whom they'd like to have the class with. I ain't gonna lie, some people just don't get along with others, or they just don't wanna hang with other people. Nothing is wrong with that, that's just the way people are. But, that's not the case here, they just want a class with me, and them. Which is pretty cool, right?!

Anyways, so I'm working on a few baby favors this week... I even posted another favor creation on my TAC Blog, using TAC products - so be sure to check that one out over there. Just trying to do simple kine favors, where there isn't much thinking... but since this week is "Sizzix" week here on Pieces of Me - I am continuing the effort to keep up with my self-challenge.

I used a sizzlit butterfly die cut, then added some stickles to the dots on the butterfly to make it sparklie. Can you guess what that tube is that I covered with DS paper?! That is a tube of Mini Mn'M's. That is actually the larger sized tube, but I wanted to use the smaller sized tube, which I couldn't find. Gotta do what I gotta do with what I have, right?! I CASED this idea from someone that had their project in a TAC catalog. I thought it was pretty cool.... so, thought I'd change it up a bit and use a sizzlit die cut. The scallop cut is my Scallop Spellbinder Nestie. Somehow, I always think that scallop items always match with anything baby. I attached the scallop tag using a mini safety pin, and pushing it through the ribbon (SU!), that I wrapped around the top of the tube.

2nd photo is close up of the tag and the butterfly, and the safety pin n' ribbon, so you can see what I mean. What do you think of this favor.

Hey - I am loving everyone's answers for my poll. If you haven't taken my poll, please do so - it's so good fun!!! It's located in the upper left corner of my blog in the sidebar. Let your voices be heard!!!! =0)

I leave you with a photo of my Ceasar. Yes, that is how you spell it - my dog is a Filipino dog (cause he's got a Filipino owner!).... this cute photo was taken during Chazz' football practice last week. Doesn't he look surprised?!

MIA for 2 days....

I know, I know.... It's Sizzix week this week, and here I am, missing.... well - this weekend, I have my Angel Gathering on Saturday night, and I had to first think of the projects that I wanted the girls to do. I'm such a nut when it comes to the monthly gatherings, because I whack my brain trying to think of something that I can come up on my own. Of course that never happens.... I resort to CASING someone else's work, which is fine, but then I try and make it my own. Anyways - yesterday, it was a spontaneous day. Being in the rut I was in, Ms. Wini gave me a ring in the morning, and said that she was coming over after her dance lessons. I had somewhere to go in the morning, but was going to be back early - and asked her to swing by right after. She was right on time!!! She was also in the feeling of wanting to create this project. I on the other hand did NOT want to do "coupon" books.... well, only because my mom and my MIL both don't understand what "coupon" books are - and I don't think I want to try to explain it to them. Id be so frustrated, I'd have to take it back. hahaha....

Anyways, so Wini comes over - wants to make that project, and she decides to use the Sizzix Large Scallop die cut.... YAY!! It's a Sizzix item, right?!?! So, my wheels are turning, and I say I wanna put pictures instead of doing coupons... hmmmm, and then the thought of using my Sizzix dies for this project started dancing in my head... and oh yummy - Wini and I was cranking, pasting, cutting, laughing, teasing, and loving, loving, loving what we were creating!!! The black ink that we used is Nior Black Palette ink.... love it!!! It's dark, crisp and luscious!!!! Here in Hawaii, you can get it from Ben Franklin's for about $6-$7.... or you can get it from ME!!!

So here is the project. Keep in mind that it is SUPPOSED to be a 12 month coupon book, therefore, Wini cut only 12 tags. I wanted to have tons of pictures.... and have printed 24 photos (which we will also use the backing of each tag). We didn't have enough time to complete the entire project, but we were able to do at least 6 of them. They are all posted here on this posting. All die cuts are of Sizzix. I think this posting should at least make up for me being gone for the past 2 days right?!?!

ALL SENTIMENTS are of The AnGEl ComPanY... you know - the company that I Demo for?! hahaha.... I love there simple sayings, and how sweet and frilly some of them look.

To cut out my Sizzlit die cuts, I used my **NEW** sidekick (My Hubbabbaba (hubby) got it for me as a "Happy Blogoversary Gift")... ain't it a sweet looking thing?!!! Now the tag shown here is actually my 1st page of our scrapbook. I wanted to add a "flare" to it, by using plastic sheets to make the butterfly and dragonfly look 3D - I got this idea from Cheryl, because I saw her sample at J's. You can purchase these plastic sheets from J's Knicknacks - or you can be a CHEAP-O like me, and cut them from plastic box containers such as your TAC stamp containers (since you ain't gonna use them anyways - of course if you store them in DVD cases or in folders)... or in this case - I cut it from the plastic casing that my lil' pink sidekick came in!!! Here is a picture of the case and what I've cut out. It only shows that I cut out the back of the box, but after this picture was taken, Wini cut out all of the sides, and any other smooth edges that were "die cutable". Wini and I were working like clockwork. It was so much fun, and we both were feeling pretty "tickled" about the whole project. It was something that were weren't doing for any class, just a "spontaneous" type of project to create. We were both working on it together, and thank goodness Cy was in somewhat of a "good" mood.... today I will have to take him out on a walk, since he was such a good boy yesterday!!! Oh but if the weather permits... it looks gloomy right now.

These close up photos are of the dragonfly and the butterfly. If you look closely, you can make out the transparent die cuts, which I've bent the wings back to look like it's popping from the page. Every Large Scallop die cut was cut out by Wini, and then she stamped with SU!'s Paisley background, which thank goodness she did, because she was actually going to stamp flower images - and oh boy... that would've taken even longer, huh Wini!?? The transparency die cut of the butterfly is more prominent in this picture. So, you should have a better idea of what I'm talking about now....

Time fly by sooo quickly - we were only able to complete 6 of these fun pages. Today, I hope to complete the rest of the book... I am still undecided as to how we should bind them. We were thinking about using a ring right at the top, or to use bind it all rings.... still up in the air. Do you have any suggestions? We would love to hear your ideas.

I have yet to complete the cutting of my TAC kits for my Angels this weekend... and because Wini and I worked on this project, I don't think it slowed me down, but rather motivated me to move my ass, and get going!!! Now I want to finish them kits so that I can finish this project. I'm so excited about it all!!!

The more I work with photos, the more I am convinced that I was supposed to be a scrapper in the 1st place (rather than a card crafter). Working around pictures -for me- seems to be a lot more fun than trying to think up ideas with creating cards. But really, these two hobbies are endless and together combined just fun to do, right?!!!

Ok, well - I think I've talked enough... here are the rest of the pages.... I hope you like what you see. I will upload the remaining pages... and hopefully the entire book when I'm done. Big Hugs to Wini for coming over on the spare of the moment yesterday.... it really does seem like it's becoming a weekly thing, eh!??

Have a wondrous day ladies...... toodaloo!!!
