Finished Christmas Bear Tags And A Busy Weekend!!!

Happy Monday Blessed Friends!!! How was your weekend?? Ours was So BUSY!!! I attended 3 parties this weekend.... and it just seems to get crazier n' busier as we approach Christmas. :) But Praise God, HE keeps me busy for HIS Kingdom, and I'm happy to be doing just that. :)

First, I had my hair done on Friday... I had the highlights removed (or toned down), and then the colors blended to an ombre look. Just thought I'd wanna do something different, so my hair stylist did just that. I was attending a Women's Church function that evening, so I asked for her to curl my ends... she did a spectacular job!!!!

Then here are some pics from the evening's festivities.... my sistahs of the same Heavenly Father!

On Saturday from 9am - 3pm, we went Christmas shopping... what a LONG day that was, and at night, we attended our friend's party, who lived up the street... they had a bunch of door prizes and games, karaoke and just a lot of fun hanging out and eating together. On Sunday, we headed to church, and then to our church's Baptism event. I helped with taking pics of those that were baptized. Then at night, another Christmas party with our Bible Fellowship next door. Phew!!! What a weekend. I am pooped..... but there is no stopping yet. Gotta get to WORK and jamm this week, so that I can finish everything before next weekend... accccckkkk!!!! Christmas is right around the corner!!!!!

I was able to finish the Bear tags, so wanted to share with you how they turned out... so here ya go!!!!

I am able to cut and create 15 at a time, which is a miracle for me, cause I don't like to create mutiples, but I guess it is because these are NEEDED, so I just gotta make them?? I just love that I have this availability to create them at any needed moment. Thank You, Lord!!!  As you've seen from my previous post, I cut these images out on my Sizzx eClips2 machine. I first printed them on my printer, using the Print 2 Cut feature on the eCal program. Then cut them out. Used glue to layer the tags, and foam tape dimensionals from SU! to pop the bear. I have a bunch of dimensionals from SU!, and I wanna use them up so that I can move on to the next set of foam tapes I have. Are you like me?? I have to finish them all up, before opening a new package. And I want to open and use the foam tape packages that I purchased from FSJ, but just can't do it until I'm done with these!!! LOL!!!!  Anyways, I put a light blue ribbon through the hole, and then tied the ribbon with a silver cord. It turned out SO cute!!!!

Today, I am working on making more tags. Will hope to share them with you here soon!!! Have a blessed week. Take your time in doing things... have a "Merry Christmas" and not a "Martha Christmas"....

My Completed Greeting Farm Project

Aloha and Happy Wednesday! I hope your day is going well. It has been gloomy n' rainy here in Hawaii, but nonetheless, I am blessed to be able to live in such a beautiful place. Now, yesterday, I've posted photos of what I was recently working on. Colored one image and then scanned and printed on my computer. I've heard mixed comments about how that is violating The Greeting Farm's angel policy. I've sent a message to Marie (owner of TGF) and haven't heard back. I'm NOT selling these projects, nor am I NOT distributing any of these images individually OR digitally. I think that was the main concern. So, praying that my creation was not in violation of TGF's policy. If it is, I will gladly remove my posts. But until Marie says otherwise, I'm gonna share. I don't think it would be a problem, especially in today's world of technology. Their digital images can be multiplied abundantly, and if I have them colored digitally, I don't see the difference.

Anyhoos... here are my completed projects. I turned them into front for Post It Note holders. I adhered the post it notes to some coasters I received from Ruby Tuesdays. Ruby Tuesday's people are so cool (at least the Hawaii ones). Whenever I ask for new coasters to use with my crafty creations, they are more than happy to go to the back and get me some new ones. So blessed!!! Anyways, I covered these coasters with DSP on the front, and black cardstock on the back. Adhered some magnets, so my friends can put these holders on any metal surface. Then added the cover on the post it note. The cover measures at 3" x 6", and I scored at 3-1/16" and 3-7/16". Glued on the back part to the post it note, then glued the entire backing of the post it note and cover to the covered coaster. I then attached the stamped piece of cardstock with sentiment sized at 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" of which the sentiment is from TGF. :) Then affixed the TGF image with foam tape, so that it pops on the cover. :) Lastly, I wrapped each one in a cellophane bag and tied it up with a matching ribbon.

Opening the post it note cover....

The magnets affixed to the back of each coaster....

 Cutely wrapped post it notes....

Can't wait to give these to my friends. I hope they will be delighted to receive a sweet creation from me. Thanks for stopping by!!

With Love In Christ,
Jen

The Greeting Farm Snuddle Anya Cut On My Sizzix eClips Machine

Aloha crafty friends!! Just sharing how awesome this machine is (to me). I hear great reviews about the Silhouette, but it has never ever made me want to give up on my eClips. I believe that the motor in the eClips2 is strong and resilient. The last machine before this, I owned was a 1st generation eClips. I eventually used it to the point of breaking down. Thus to try something new, I took a chance and purchased a Silhouette from Amazon, I was in the middle of a wedding project, and needed to cut out pieces to make ukulele centerpieces, and the Silhouette I purchased couldn't handle and broke down in the middle of my 7th ukulele!!! So happy that Amazon has an awesome 30 day return policy, I immediately returned the Silhouette, and ordered an eClips2 instead. The BEST DECISION EVER!!! I was happy that I already knew how to work the machine and the program. Never jumping ship again. LOL! :)

Today, I'm still using the same machine... no problems... here in one of my pics, I am using washi tape to hold down my cardstock, because my mat is no longer sticky, and I'm too lazy to re-affix adhesive. But I will be doing it sometime SOON!!! :)

Anyways, thanks for letting me share!!! Here I am playing with The Greeting Farm's "Snuddle Anya" stamp. Colored one stamped image, scanned then print on my printer using eCal's Print2Cut feature. Cutting nine of these at one time, using my eClips2 machine.

Will post my finished projects after I'm finished with them. :) Thanks for stopping by!!!!

Jen
