Happy 13th Birthday Son

My boy turned 13 yesterday... so blessed to see the young man he is growing into. Praying that he will continue to seek the ways of the Lord, and know that he is loved loved loved by all of his family.  I pray that he will be able to overcome all obstacles in life, and that in every aspect, he will always keep his mind & heart set on the Lord, so that he will know in which way he must go. :)   I just put this LO together real quick, so I could post on to FB. didn't really do much embellishments but the wording. Pics are all from within this year, except for the one in the upper right hand, I believe he was about 3 years old when that one was taken. Just wanted to add a before n' after pic...

Here's what I'm working on today... I'm sure gonna be working on more. Making some Christmas tags. Trying to make as many as possible at one time. The Sizzix eClips2 surely comes in handy for me during these time that I need a lot of things to be cut. Gonna be using LSHD digital images on my Christmas tags. So Easy!!!!

With Love In Christ,
Jen

Happy Aloha Friday

Aloha Gang!!!  Hope your week has gone by smoothly. It was a super cold week, here in Hawaii. It was also a sad week with some murders happening on our island. So sad. Please say a prayer for this Ohana. There was also a murder of a young man, only 18 years old. Another tragic event. Hate that all this is going on. It's scary. But I am praying for the families, and for everyone that was affected by these tragic events. Praying for our island, our state, our country. Please pray along side with me too, in the name of Jesus.

My hubby recently blessed me with this wide-sized printer. I'm so stoked because now I can print my digital scrapbook pages, sized at 12' x 12" in my own home. No more waiting and ordering. The print quality is pretty good. It's not photo paper. But maybe after my supply is depleted, I'll try glossy paper on the next one. :) So far, it's been coming out pretty cute.... here is how the digital LOs turned out:

Here's how the print outs turned out....

I don't think it looks too bad. Good enough for me. :) Have a blessed weekend. I need to work on some Christmas Cards again... someone ordered a bunch from me. So... here we go!!!

With Love In Christ,
Jen

2 Page Digital LO Thanksgiving 2016

Aloha friends!! How are you today?? I am sharing with you a 2-page digital page layout that I created using LSHD's "Let's Feast" digital kit, and pics from our Thanksgiving Feast of 2016. I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is right around the corner!!!! I have been SO behind on my digital scrapbooking pages. Like YEARS behind.  Now a days, I just create as I need to. Boo. Love how easy to use these products are. I used photoshop elements to put my pages together. Each will be printed on 12x12 scrapbook pages.

Click on the image to see an enlarged version.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Thanks for visiting!!!
With Love In Christ,
Jen

2nd Post - Saying Goodbye To Our Fur Baby Ehu

Yesterday, October 10th, 2017, we said goodbye to our fur baby Ehu a.k.a "EhuLani", of whom we've received plenty of blessings of love, companionship and cuddles from, these past 16 years. She was our 1st dog, and we had her shortly after we first purchased our home. We got her when our oldest boy was just 5 years old. She was "mama" to all our younger fur babies, and was just the sweetest loving doggy and so smart too. Oh how you will be missed, Ehu!!!! Rest in love, sweet baby girl... you'll forever be in our hearts...

I made these digital pages, which I'll be printing out and saving in our 2017 album.

With Love In Christ,
Jen

Project Life Digital Scrapbooking of Pics From My May Stamp-a-Stack Class

Aloha All... got a chance to do a digital scrapbook page today. Have been meaning to complete this one for a while now. Finally got to sit down and work on it. Well, here it is, pics taken of my crafty lady friends during my May Stamp-a-Stack card class. It was such a fun day. These ladies are such joys to hang out with, and I am just truly blessed by their company.  I thank the Lord for awesome friendships that I've found in the craft world.

I used a Becky Higgin's Project Life Template and Elements. Super easy and fun to create. I wanted to add more elements. But I think less is good enough. I got lots of pics on this page, and was even able to add in some journaling. :)  Thanks, Project Life.

Stampin' Up! has Project Life, but no longer in digital format. I wish they still continued the Project Life digital elements part, because I would totally make use of it.

Thanks for dropping by today!! May your day be blessed!!!

Aloha,
Jen

Stampin' Up! Project Life Digital Pages

Aloha all!! Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend.  I was blessed to have the weekend spent with some crafty stampers..... I met Dawn Griffith of "Dawn's Stamping Thoughts", in real life... it felt like "old friends" catching up with what was going on in our lives.  I'm so proud of her, of where she's at right now with Stampin' Up!.  Truly amazing what the Lord has done for her!!!

With all the pics I took this weekend, I thought that I'd put together a digital page using Stampin' Up!'s Project Life digital kits. Project Life is pretty much the "in" thing right now. I'm happy that they have "PL" available for digital capabilities.  I am using Photoshop Element 8 to create my digital pages. Here are 2 pages I created using Stampin' Up!'s "Every Day Adventure" digital downloads. Template is from Becky Higgins.

This download is currently 30% off regular price.

Thanks for visiting! Have a blessed day in Jesus!!!

Happy 1st of March - Doodle Pantry Release....

March ALREADY?!?!?  Yes,  I can't believe it either!! Well, new month....new release at Doodle Pantry!! So let's do this!!!

Some awesome scrapbook templates have been released this month, which I had the pleasure to play with. :) The templates are both digital and paper cutting friendly. Meaning, if you like digital scrapbooking, you can use the template with your digital program. And if you'd rather create with paper, you can cut the template out on your cutting machine and create your layout that way.  Either way, you can be creative however way you like.   The set this template comes out from is called "Scrap Cuts 1 SVG". Here is a view of all that comes in this set:

I used 2 of the 3 templates that came in this set... here is the 1st template that I've used....I will share the 2nd one with you tomorrow.  Thanks for stopping by!!!

Yes, my family and our friends are San Francisco 49rs fans...

2 Page Digital Scrapbook Page Layouts - Top of Waikiki

Hello Again.... Happy Tuesday.  Today I go and see my Oncologist to give him feedback on how the hormones pills have been affecting me after taking them for a month.  I have noticed some things... so going to share them with him and see what he has to say.

For my creativity share today, I am sharing with you 2 LO's that I created digitally, using photos from the night we went to dinner with my brother and his wife.  These pages were already created.  All I needed to do was add the journaling and the photos.  That was pretty much it.  Unfortunately, I don't know where these "quick pages" came from.  But here they are, and they were also created using Photo Shop Elements 8.  One thing about quick pages... they are so easy and quick to do.  So I'm trying really hard to make sure I use these elements that I've purchased.  Gotta make them worth the purchases, and not let them sit around like they have been for the last couple of years.  :)  Thanks for stopping by and peeking...

Photo: Another digital page layout... pics taken during dinner at Top of Waikiki with my bro and his wife.

Photo: Last week, dinner at Top of Waikiki Restaurant with my bro, James and his beautiful wife, Normita.

Skissedilla LO Challenge #231

Aloha Crafty Friends...

How was your weekend??  Mines was pretty busy... my brother and his wife returned to their home in WA, and my oldest son's basketball games started up.  Lots of pictures taken, and I'm trying really heard to keep up with creating digital pages.  At the end of each month, I want to get them printed, and really make an album.  This family has gone on TOO long without any albums to look at.  Everything is digital.  But I remember the good ol' days when family and friends would come over, and mom was able to show them piles and piles of photos.  LOL.  At least now, the photos are compiled, and can be easily decorated.  This weekend, we also attended a wedding of one of my hubby's high school classmate.  It was really neat to see this couple get married, after being with each other for so long.  My hubby really really enjoyed himself, and just loved being together with his "boy" on this special day.  Thank U, Jesus!!!

Anyways, today, I am sharing with you a LO that I created using the Skissedilla LO Challenge #231.  Here is how the sketch looks like:

Sketch #231

I rotated the sketch with my LO.  Here's what I came up with:

Photo: Digital page layout, for Skissedilla's LO Challenge #231. Pic was taken at Top of Waikiki during dinner with my brother and his wife last week.

Photo was taken at Top of Waikiki during dinner with my brother and his wife.  I used digital scrapbooking elements from Shabby Shoppe, and the overlays on the 12x12 background and photo are from Body Works.  My LO was created with Photo Shop Elements 8.  I have yet to upgrade to a newer version.  Not sure just yet if it is worth it.

Anyways, thanks for checking out my blog today.  I need to finish up a couple more pages from this weekend's events.  I also need to create something with paper, stamps and inks... oh how I miss them so!!  Have a blessed week.... ALOHA!!!!

My Day on January 7th, 2014 and Digital SB Layouts!

Sorry gang, no pics from my walk yesterday morning, that's because I didn't go on a walk.  I ended up being waken in the wee hours of the dawn (around 5:10am) to a phone call from my dad, asking me to take my mom to the ER.  Praise God, it turned out to be nothing serious.  Mom was home 3 hours later, and I was back home taking care of my boys, sending them off to school, then off to the pharmacy to get meds for mom, and then back to her house to drop those meds off.  When I got home, I was SO tired... and it's not like I've missed 3 hours of sleep, I only missed 1.  But I skipped on coffee, and I am guessing because I had to jump outtah bed, and get into "EMERGENCY" mode, my adrenaline kicked in, and I was up n' at 'em in no time.  All that effort, and energy I put in, made me tired.  I'm guessing... LOL..  Although my plans for the day was "revised", I am blessed to be my mother's daughter, and to be able to be here for both of them.  It's funny, because you never know what the day has in store for you... infact, only the Lord knows.  If you allow Him to use you as HIS vessel, you KNOW that all that has happened, was His plan in the first place, and His plans are always perfect..... :)  So no pics from my walk... but I did take pics from the ER room we were in,  and here they are :)

As for a project... I created 2 digital scrapbook layouts.  Every year, I *try* to create my digital pages, and always *try* to start with the previous year.  But I think I'm gonna start when the feelings are still fresh, and I am able to journal my thoughts down before time passes.  Hopefully, I'll be able to keep up with it, along with everything else that is going on.  Here is what I've come up with....

Here's how the pages will look next to each other:

I used Photo Shop Elements 8 to create these pages, using digital scrapbook elements from Just So Scrappy 2!  Both pages are 12x12 layouts.  I will have them sent to the printers at the end of the month, and start my album of 2014!!

Thanks for popping in, thank you for your comments, it's time for me to have my coffee and start my day... have a blessed day today!!!

Blessings ~

1st Creative Spark After Surgery - A Digital Scrapbook Page and an Update!

Because I have limited use of my arms, and can't really do anything (because they are kinda jello at this time), the easiest craft activity I can do is creating a digital scrapbook page!  This is the extent of my creativity... thought I would be able to get a bunch of pages done, but I was wrong... my chest muscles started getting tight, and I had to rest... but here is what I was able to create while I was at it.  :)

Update on my progress....  October 29th, 2013:

Went to the dr's today... He wants to keep the last two drains in for just a little longer. God willing, they'll be out by the end of this week. But I am in rush, if it means staying in longer to drain more liquid, so be it. Good news, he filled my expanders today with saline!! 100ccs!! Slowly but surely he will get me there to my normal breast size. No pain when he filled. Still numbness there. But I heard pain comes later, let's see how I feel tomorrow. If anything, chest feels hard and tight. But that is normal, as the expanders are to help stretch skin and muscles to make room for the permanent fills. Thanking The Lord for this path, because I know of so many others whose path was a far more severe and hard one to go through. Only by HIS might and HIS power that I can continue to persevere through all this. Thank U, JESUS!!!!

Clear Digital Stamp NEW Release - March 2013

Hey Gang!!!

How ya all been doing?  I know, I haven't been posting regularly... something happens all the time through out the month.  I can't seem to have a steady mojo of creativity.  I want to keep posting, but then "lose feeling".  Then when it is time for Clear Digital Stamp's monthly release, I begin to get all inspired again... lame, I know.

Well, thank you for visiting, and checking out what I created for this months Clear Digital Stamps release....  I was blessed to be able to create with 2 digital sets.  Here is the 1st set I worked on, drawn by Austie Bost, called "Bandaids":

The above sentiment isn't part of the digital stamp set, I created it on my computer.  :)

The 2nd set I got to work with was this set, called "Tween Fun" another delightful set drawn by Austie Bost...

I created a digital page layout using the elements from the super fun digital set.  It is a layout of my girlfriend Rina and I taking some fun pics one day after church.  :)

Well, I hope you enjoyed your time here.  There are many other digital sets that have been released.  Go on and check out Clear Digital Stamp's blog and see what other sets have been released, and what the other DT members created with the sets they were blessed to work with. Have a blessed day and thank you for spending some time here with me!!!

Blessings ~
