Day 7- Encouragement

Aloha Gang!!! Happy Aloha Friday!!!

Looks like we have another Hurricane on it's way to Hawaii again. This time, this one is heading directly on to us. Please keep the state of Hawaii in your prayers....

Today, we are on Day #7, for my Little C's Daily Challenges. I wasn't able to create something for Day 6 (Back to School) yesterday. I had a doctor's appointment and then a meeting afterwards, so when I got home, I was feeling a little bit dizzy n' tired. Took a nap, and the next thing I knew, it was time to start dinner. Didn't even have a chance to wash the dishes. Sometimes, I have those days, don't you? I don't hate it. It's just one of those days that the Lord reminds me to slow down, take some time to re-coup, and put myself together again. "Doing too much"... and so he changes my directions and allows me to rest.

I have a couple of projects to share with you today, both on the theme of "Encouragement"...

First a couple of cards I made last night, while the hubby was snoring away. I love stamping, because it is a silent craft that I can do while anyone is sleeping. But, can't really get all creative, cause the heating gun and die cutting machines can't be in use. So, just gotta keep it simple. That's what I did with this card. Fortunately, I had already ran the die cut through the machine before he fell asleep.

Card Recipe:

  • Flower stamp: Stampin' Up!
  • Sentiments (including die cut word): Taylored Expressions
This card was pretty easy and fut to create. The flower is a huge stamp, so I just put 2 cardstocks next to each other to create 2 cards at once. I then spritz the stamp with water, and stamped the excess on to the blank areas to that I could fill those spaces with a little bit of ink. Turned out so pretty, ya??

This next project is a **NEW** crafting project I found myself loving. SIGN making!! I'm still tryna figure it out. This one is cut our vinyl on glass. I cut the vinyl on my eClips2 machine, and transferred it over to this frame that I had waiting to be decorated. I purchased this cut from Lori Whitlock's online store. I love it!! Looking to create more signs, but I want to do them on WOOD!!!  So, be on a look out for more of these projects in my future. Isn't it such a pretty saying??

"In Our home let Love Abide and Bless ALL those who step inside."
Thanks again for stopping by. Have a beautiful and blessed Aloha Friday. Praying your weekend is a restful and enjoyable one as well.

Aloha,
Jen

August Day 1 and Day 2

Aloha Gang...

Late, and I promise, I will try and create AHEAD of time so that I can post my projects on the day of... just gimme a few days. Anyways, this one was for Day #1 "Mermaid" and Day #2 "Chevron". Here are the projects I came up with:

Day 1 - Mermaid - I created these 2 different cards, one with the moon directly behind the mermaid, and the second with the moon up high in the sky. Both turned out super cute.

Card Recipe:

  • Hero Arts Monthly Hero Kit (June)
  • Pan Pastels
  • Stickles

Day 2 "Chevron"
Card Recipe:

  • Stamps: Stampin' Up!
  • Chevron Die: Cheery Design

Thanks for stopping in. Will hopefully post Day 3 before the day is over.

Aloha,
Jen

Worked On Some Kits

Aloha Crafty Friends,

So, I have been looking through my stuffs, and found some kits that I had purchased, and they weren't even put together yet!!! SO, my goal is to at least work on 1 kit per week, especially if they are card kits, because I need to really get them done. Hate that I bought them all and they are just sitting around.

This kit is from SU!, I have made 10 of these cards. I think there is actually 20 cards that could've been made with this kit. It was real quick n' easy and fun to put together, and I have decided to donate this set of finished cards to my friend's blog, Practical Family. If you haven't heard of it, please go and visit, and check her out. She has so many suggestions and advice about home schooling and raising children in a Godly home.

Now to work on the others... praying that you have a blessed week!!!

Aloha,
Jen

Pics and Projects From My October Crafty Session

Hello Friends!!! As promised, here are pics taken from my October Crafty Session. This weekend, I'm hosting another crafty session, but it is for Bible Journaling, Prayer Journals and Planners. Looking forward to meeting some new friends too!!

Here are the pics from that day of my event. These are usually just set up pics. My ladies are sometimes very shy and don't want to be on the WWW, so out of respect for these beauties, I don't take pics of faces. :)

Here are the projects that were created.... sweet n' simple!!!

There ya have it!!!! Thanks for popping in. Have a blessed week.

With Love In Christ,
Jen

Background Fun Using Distress Oxide Inks

Happy Aloha Friday, Crafty Peeps!!!!  So I have been watching a bunch of Jennifer McGuire crafty videos lately, and I gotta tell ya, they are addicting and so much fun to watch. I get all excited at watching her videos, and want to try out the technique she shares immediately after I'm done watching. However, I sometimes fail at the technique, and when I do the same thing Jenn McG does, mines doesn't quite come out the same way!! Hahahahaha!!! Such a big laugh. But, as my friend Ali told me... "not a fail, but a happy detour"... she's too cute, and I'm blessed to have a sweet friend that encourages me. Well, I have posted the video that I was inspired by, down below, after my projects are posted... here are the water color backgrounds that I ended up with:

So with these backgrounds, I made these cards....

I didn't plan this but it is interesting how a lot of the products used on these cards are from SU!. Majority of them are... love love love how each of these cards turned out. Thank You, Jenn McG!!!
Here is her video that inspired me:

With Sympathy

My mom needed a sympathy card for a family member that passed away. :( Mom was so cute, asked me "how much?".... I just giggled.

This was created with a Stampin' Up! stamp set and Darcie embossing folder. Colored with Copic Markers.

For The Bridge and Groom

Went to Maui a couple weeks ago, can't believe that it's already been almost a month since being there. Anyways, our friends got married and we were so blessed to have been able to witness their vows to each other. God is GOOD. Seen amazing things happen to this couple. Continuing to pray that the Lord guides and provides their every walk n' daily destination.

CASED card

You Make Me Smile

Created this card couple weeks back..... CASED it from somebody on the web. Ali shared the image of the card with me, and I just followed. So here it is...

I'm Here For You

Aloha Stampers,

I worked on this card today, took my time creating it, and it took me almost all day. I CASED this card off of Ann Hick's card posted on Pinterest. This card, I created for one of my dearest friend and sister in Christ, Rina. Her hubby recently went home to be with Jesus. Pancreatic Cancer took his life. But his legacy about how he lived his life in Christ, will continue to live on. Here is how my card turned out:

Here are the supplies I used:
  •  Jars of Love Stamp Set
  • Everyday Jars Framelits
  • Colors: Night of Navy (Cardstock & Ink), Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink, Fresh Fig, Marina Mist, Coastal Cabana (Rtd)
  • Cardstock: Whisper White
  • Sentiment: Retired
  • Background Little Detailed Stamps: Sheltering Tree Stamp Set
  • Big Shot
  • Magnetic Platform
  • Stampin'  Dimensionals (Foam Tape)
Here are a few tips that I'd like to share.... I first stamped all my images unto my white cardstock, like this....

I then put the cardstock on to the Magnetic Platform, and one of the Acrylic Plates, then I arranged all die cuts in it's place, and then ran it through the Big Shot. Makes it easier to get multiple images done. :)

Thanks for stopping by!!!!

Blessings,
Jen

Jen's Hostess6 Club for Stampin' Up!

Aloha Stampers!!!!

I am in search of people to form groups of 6 for my Hostess6 Club, during the months of July thru December 2017. Each person would take turns being a hostess during this 6 month period. There is a $25 minimum purchase per month, and when it is your turn to be hostess, you will guarantee reach the 1st hostess level of $150, allowing you at least 10% hostess benefits to spend. You could always "up" your level on the month that you are hostess, by adding more to your order by inviting other crafty friends n' family members to order during your hostess month using a specific Hostess Code just for YOUR month. The more people you have during your hostess month, the more hostess benefits you earn. Please comment below and let me know if you are interested in signing up!!

Sorry, not open to other SU! Demonstrators.

Please let me know if you are interested in signing up!!! The process is real easy n' great for keeping yourself on a budget.

Please leave me a comment here or email me at littlecs7@gmail.com with subject "I Wanna Join Your Hostess6 Club".

Much Thanks n' Blessings,
Jen

Video Pre-Ordered Stampin' Up! Products

Hey Gang!! I received my pre-ordered items of some of the new Stampin' Up! products that are coming out in the 2017-2018 catalog, last week. As a demonstrator, we are able to pre-order some specified products, prior to the regular customer base. That is one of the reasons I like being a demonstrator, I like getting my stuffs before everyone else. However, it is only a limited amount of products that we are able to choose from. I always start to drool as I look through the catalog. I found myself trying to order a few of the items that weren't on the list.... too funny, only to find out that they aren't available. Ever tried doing that?? I just try, hoping that MAYBE it's gonna go through, that they messed up and I'll be that 1 that get to order something everyone else couldn't. LOL!!!! No such thing has happened.... Also in this order are some of the products that are retiring. I'm going to try and make a Stampin' Up! project once a week. It's just the most craziest time of the year right now.... with graduations and weddings coming up... my hands are being requested to create... and I am just so thankful to the Lord for these blessed orders. Just gotta make sure I don't mess up and say "yes" to everyone... eeks!!!

Anyways, here is my video, I hope you like what I've ordered!!!! Don't forget, you will be able to order from the new catalog starting June 1st, 2017. If you need a catalog, be sure to contact me, or you can view an electronic one through my website, link on the ride side bar over there ----->

Last Days of Thoughtful Branches Bundle Promotion

Aloha! We are coming down to the last days of the promotion of "Thankful Branches" stamp set and "Beautiful Branches Thinlit Dies". Tomorrow, August 31st 2016, will be the last day to purchase these products, and then I don't know if Stampin' Up! will be bringing it back later, or not. But I do know that once the promotion ends, you won't be able to get them til' SU! decides to either put into the new catalog (Aug 2017) or never again. I think it's a huge hit, and I think it would make a come back, but you never know what the head of the company will decide. Plus, having to wait til' August 2017? I don't think so. :)

I've created a video using this set, shared some of the projects I created with it. Not much of them are my own ideas, as I CASE'd them from the web. I hope to make more. But in the mean time, here's the video I came up with:

May Stampin' Up! Haul

Received my Stampin' Up! Haul of mostly things retiring yesterday. :) So thrilled that I got these before they were gone. Was contemplating if I should get them and thought over and over again of I should. Well, I did!! I am hoping to make more easier to do cards for my classes and for the cards I sell at my sister's store in Cali! Praying that all of these will come in handy! Here's a look at the stash I got!!!!

Yesterday, I spent a couple of hours at me neighbor's house, working on projects for her wedding. We're not done yet, but getting there quickly! If you want to see what we were up to, visit my Fun Cuts blog and check out today's post!

Thanks for visiting!!! Hope your Saturday is a blast!!!

Happy Birthday

Happy Aloha Friday!!!  I have another card using the "Swirly Bird" stamp set bundle. This was the other card that I used for my class project last week...

I used the following items on my card:
What a fun time we had at the class last week. I will share some pics in another post. This weekend, I'll be working on some new projects using new products. So come on by and visit. We've got a busy weekend, and it just keeps getting busier, right? Let's remember to take some time to breathe... and ask the Lord for renewed strength, and that HE guides your path daily.

Aloha,
Jen

Hostess Level Set - Gift of Love

Welcome back!!!!  Today, I am sharing with you a card created with one of the Hostess Level stamp sets. However, they refer it to "Stampin' Rewards" now, so, it's the same thing, incase it is confusing.  This stamp set is called "Gift of Love". I always purchase the photopolymer or cling foam sets, never the wood ones anymore, because it saves me a lot on storage space. I love the photopolymer ones as well because for my bible journaling, I can easily stamp the image from the acetate sheet that it comes on. Later, I will share with you how I create with them. :)

This is a great set to have. Love the flowers... easy n' quick to color because it is a 2-step stampin' set. Easy to line up, because they are see-thru. I used new in-colors on this project.

Here's what I used:

Today, I'm helping my neighbor with her wedding plans. Check out my Fun Cuts blog to see other projects that I have been working on for this wedding. Got some things to go through before I leave on my trip!!! Got get things DONE!!!! I am also hoping that I have some time to create. My hubby's birthday is tomorrow, and I haven't even made him a card yet. But not like he's big on his birthday. But still... I'm a card-producing factory, but none for it's owner. LOL!!!  Gonna be looking towards this goal to get done. Hope your goals for this week are met as well.....

Blessings!!!

Stampin' UP! 2016-2017 Catalog Reveal

Yay!!!  The day has finally come!!!!  Today, June 1st is the opening day that we can now order from Stampin' Up!'s NEW 2016-2017 Catalog. I have been going through the pages, and drooling... and marking my catalog, noting which of these sets I'll be adding to my stamp collection. It is finally here!!!!

I have a project to share with you, of what I created using a new product from Stampin' Up!  But first, a little background on what's going on with my blog here. I have decided to keep this blog strictly about my Stampin' Up! projects, products and promotions. I will be posting all other projects to my "Fun Cuts" blog.  If you are interested in seeing my other projects, please visit and subscribe to my Fun Cuts blog by visiting here:

http://funcuts808.blogspot.com/

I felt like I needed to keep my Stampin' Up! business separate, in order to share the great ideas solely about this company. I hope you will agree with me...

Ok, so excited... first - the catalog is available ONLINE!!! As a PDF file. You can easily view it by clicking on the catalog that is posted to my right side bar of this blog. If you would like a hard copy, please let me know. Shipping is $5, that's all I charge. I don't charge for the catalog.

So today's project is something REAL simple!! I found it on Pinterest. It was one of the bundles we were able to pre-order as Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, and there are SO many CUTE projects to make with this set, I just had to get it.... here is my card. Again, credit goes to the person that shared it on Pinterest.

Here is the top view, to show how the butterfly's wings are popping up from the card:

This card was pretty simple to create... here's the products I used:
I hope you are as excited about the new catalog as I am... will be sharing more projects creating with new products throughout the week.

Stampin' Up! Wednesday on a Thursday

Aloha!!! I was supposed to post this project yesterday, but failed, due to cleaning my craft area. Here's what I was working with half way through my cleaning...

I was able to find places for everything, and take them off of the floor!! Praise God!!!! Now I don't have barriers of "piles" of stuffs that would keep me within my craft area, and I can freely move in and out of my area with ease. Not to mention my hubby not having to stub his toe on my stuffs anymore in the middle of the night (my craft area is in my bedroom).

Here is what I ended up with. I'm just happy the floor has nothing on it anymore... LOL! I can never say that enough. It's still a mess, but it's an organized mess.

Now to share my project. Here is a card created with one of the new Hostess Sets available in the 2016-2017 Stampin' Up! Catalog. After cleaning my craft area, I found that I have a LOT of things. But especially a LOT of RIBBONS!!! So, a note to self: Put a Ribbon on a project, if it seems fit, and as much as you can!!!  I need to get rid of these ribbons. Just like paper... lol! so cute, so pretty, so gotta have it. Then it sits... and sits... well, at least I know that I have it there when I need it right??  Well, I'm gonna be adding more ribbon to my everything from now on.

The name of this set is called "Gift of Love", again, it is a Hostess set. It is also a clear stamp set. You will be able to earn this if you host a Stampin' Up! Party through me. Let me know if you are interested, and I will point you in the right direction. Give you advice on how to plan your party, host your party, and even throw a party for yourself even!!! The item number of this set is #141796. You won't be able to earn it til' the new catalog season starts, which begins on June 1st, 2016.

If you haven't received your Stampin' Up! catalog yet, and would like to get your hands on one, please do so by visiting my website here (however, you would need to wait til' June 1st to order it) - and you can start planning your wishlist, so that you can earn this beautiful set! You can also chose to view a PDF version instead, and go from there.

Anyways, thanks for visiting. I will be posting another project later today, for Thursday's project. :)

Blessings,
Jen
