Coffee K-Cup Holder

Aloha Gang! Sharing a decorated coffee k-cup holder for 2!. I created this holder using Lori Whitlock's K-Cup holder svg file, and then added a stamped image and sentiment from RG Avenue. DSP is from Stampin' Up!

I also created a Crafty Aloha Friday video and hope to be able to share a video once a week again.  It'll be a video of all the created projects I created during the week. Here is the video I posted:

Day 3 Wreath Svg From RG Studio 360

Happy Monday!!! 

I have decided to create a project a day with RG Studio 360! LOL... no laugh, it's a challenge!! LOL... I already have my daily challenge... but hopefully I can MAKE a something each day using RG Studio 360... we shall see...

Ok, so here is my project for today. It's actually for Day #3 "Wreath".  I created it with SVG cuts from RG Studio 360's "Cheerful Foliage" digital set. 
The bird is also the bird that I originally colored n' cut for the project I posted on Friday. Sentiment "RISE" is a stamp from an exclusive set that was given to those that attended the Live Rise Even.  Blessed....

Day 10 - Sports

Aloha and Happy Monday!!!

I was on Day 10, and got stuck on day 10: "Sports"... lol. I wanted to make a sign for our home, it is a sports sign, and I was inspired to create this sign, because I seen one like it at one of the restaurants I recently ate at. I found an SVG cut that had most of the words that I wanted it to say, and then I altered it to change it up. Here is the SVG file that I purchased:

I altered it to make it our own.... removed and added some lines.... and made it to finish off as a sports theme. I cut this on my Sizzix eClips2 machine. So here's how it turned out:

What this is actually painted on was a box that a frame came in. The box was approximately 11" x 20", so I wanted to add these quirky things we did as a family, and making it more for "us". The thing is, when I stenciled the letters on, and then I coated it with paint, when I peeled off the stencil, the paint peeled off along with it.... leaving me with a negative stencil instead. So here is the paint all in there, ready to be removed... and instead.... next pic...

When I removed the paint, it caused a negative print to happen. So I had to go back and hand paint every letter......

In the end, the results was this... and I was happy the way it turned out. So was my hubby!!

A 3D Project - Day 1

Here's my project...

Sorry about the messy desk, I didn't set up a "studio background" for this project, because it was simply a sample project to share with a friend of mines. Hence the straight cut off on the right eye of the owl. LOL. This cut stands 6" tall, and took about 15 minutes to cut and put all together. This is a cut file from My Scrap Chick. You can add a little bit of yummies in the box part of this project, and use this as a center piece OR door prize.

"H" is for "Heart"

Aloha and Welcome back to another week of my Alphabet Challenge!!! We are on the letter "H", and since Valentine's Day is right around the corner, let's get into the mood of creating with "HEARTS" or 1 Heart is good enough, if you just have 1 to put on your project. Sounds good??

Perfect, since Valentine's Day is right around the corner. So here's a hint... you can either use the word "heart" or a "heart" image or paper piecing. Just as long as there is a "heart" on your handmade project. Here is my sample:

I used one of the robots from Little Scraps of Heaven Design's "Love Bots" cut file set. The foil type paper was something I purchased years ago, and only now trying out. So happy that my eClips cut it with no problems.  I embossed the sentiment... have been embossing lately, and have been loving it!!

Aloha and welcome back to another week of Alphabet Challenges!!! We are on the letter "F" this week, and I am going with "F" is for "Flurries" -  First let's take care of last week's winner.... Our winner was:

Thank you all that participated. Moving on to my sample.... I am continuing to work on my Rolodex Birthday Calendar.. so here is the month of December's cover. Love that Little Scraps of Heaven Designs has a cut that celebrates the Lord's birth. This set is called "A Child is Born". The background paper has the "FLURRIES" that I am using as the sample for this week's challenge.

Here is a photo of the cover in the Rolodex file. I still have to think of how I'm going to show the birthdays. There is still a lot of room in this Rolodex file. I can't wait til' I'm completely done with it.

Now for this week's prize... and I have to let you all know, I will be on vacation the next 2 weeks, so this week's prize won't be mailed out until I get back. Which'll be the beginning of January. So please sit tight!  When I am on vacation, my challenges will also be on break, and won't be back til' the 4th of January. I so appreciate you understanding. This is a time of rest for me n' my family and we just need to take that break from all the busy-ness that went on throughout the year. OK, so with that all said and understood, here is this week's prize:

 This is a sheet of unmounted and uncut stamps. There is 7 stamps on this sheet. To use, you need to cut and then use an acrylic block. Because it isn't mounted on any foam, I either use ATG tape to temporarily adhere it to my block, or use "Tack-and-Peel" which also works great. Anyways this is the prize for this week. Mini Diaper Cake with Zoo Animal Toppers

Aloha!! Hope you are having a blessed week!! The year is almost OVER!! October is the month that everything just starts to feel like we're going down hill quickly.... I actually start to make my Christmas list this month, and I haven't even started that yet, so I already feel like I'm BEHIND!! I need to get on it, and start ordering stuffs so I can get them in on time. Anyways, after October, Thanksgiving comes, and then CHRISTMAS!! Thanking Jesus for this blessed day that we get to celebrate HIS birth. Did you know that it probably wasn't even in December that Jesus was born??  Interesting fact, right??? 

This past weekend, a friend asked me to make some mini diapers for a baby shower she was hosting. I used Little Scraps of Heaven Design's Zoo Animals 1, 2 & 3!! Loved these adorable animals. They are too CUTE!!  Here's how they turned out!!!

Something Sweet For Ya!

Created this card using LSHD's freebie from last week. Every Monday, the owner Tricia comes up with a new adorable cut to share with the entire world!! Here's what I made with last week's freebie!

I used a stamp from Stampin Up! for the sentiment and also a die cut from Stampin Up! for the fancy layer die cut. This one turned out so cute. All of her cuts are SO CUTE!!!

Mini Baby Diaper Cakes

This weekend, I helped my niece create some cute mini diaper cakes for her friend's upcoming baby shower. I used Little Scraps of Heaven Design's "Spring Owl" and created "HOOT" on the eCal program. Here's how they turned out:

Have a Sweet Birthday!

Aloha all!! Here's another adorable card I created using Little Scraps of Heaven Design's cuts. I created this adorable birthday card using the snow cone cut from "Cool Treats". However, I re-vamped this adorable cut to make it look like a rainbow snow cone, or rather what we here in Hawaii refers to as "Shave Ice". The Rainbow flavor is my son's favorite, and he always gets it. But not only is it with shave ice, on the inside, there is a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and azuki beans, and to top it, condense milk, which we call "Snow Cap". Us locals know how to make the yummiest of treats. If you haven't had this treat, and visited Hawaii, I suggest you come back and try it. You'll be happy that you did!!! 

The stamped sentiment is a Lawn Fawn stamp. Isn't it so CUTE???

Decorated September Calendar Planner

Aloha all... another thing that I have dived into is planners. Actually, I've always had a planner, I just haven't decorated and make them all cutesy before, other than using all types of different colored pens. My dear friend, Ali, she has open another door and showed me how peeps are decorating and playing with their planners. My first thought was, WHAAAAT??? I swore at that time I didn't think anything of it, and thought to myself that I just have NO TIME to be playing with my planner, and besides, at the end of the year, it'll go into the trash, right?  Well, with decorated pages, maybe I'll kinda make it into a journaling planner, and end up keeping it just for myself in the future... what do ya think?? 

So here is my 1st decorated page in my planner book, which is actually my calendar. I used Little Scraps of Heaven Design's "September Title" to decorate this month's page. I am planning on decorating my planner here n' there. But like I mentioned above, I think I will make it more like a journal calendar, come next year.... or maybe I should practice, NOW??? Hmmmmm....  Anything to play with paper, right??

I'm Back!!

Aloha All!! Why does it always take so long to get back into the mood of crafting when I return from a vacation? There are ideas, and I have the slight desire to want to create something, but there is just no energy there. Anyways... just gotta go day by day and refocus and allow the Lord to lead, and take the reigns of my chariot in the direction of which HE would want for me to go, right??

Anyways, how many of you are into planners? My sis-in-Christ and crafty sister has been creating some real neat things and using a planner. I have 1 calendar book that I plan my entire month in. But now, I see that there is so much to do in it that can be CUTE! At first, I thought, what would I do with a planner and why invest in creating in something that I would throw away. But I am learning slowly by slowly, that it is FUN to doodle in my calendar, and I'll start adding tabs and paper clips. I just don't want to start a planner and have to carry around 10 planners, because they are all cute. LOL! That's a struggle. I think I should just focus on 1 and work around that, right?  Well, why did I even bring up about calendars??  I guess cause I was thinking of all these projects I need/want to create, and instead of working on them, I ended up just listing them... and it helped... a little. But here I am rambling on.

I have been also into Bible Journaling lately. My last post was actually a bible journaling post. It was a digitally created bible journaling project. I also like to bible journal on my bible and then last week, while at WalMart, I purchased this Canson XL mixed media spiral journal, of which it is sized at 9" x 12".

I immediately knew that I wanted to add bible scriptures and inspirational verses within this book. So, I took some of the other pages that I've already created, and adhered them within.

 

 

The idea is for me to journal on the white spaces of my pages, WHENEVER the Lord places something on my heart, I can go to that verse and write something. Just as I have journaled on the page of the last pic I posted above. There is also space for me to doodle if I have the desire to. Or just adding a reminder to myself such as the writing that I've written right under the umbrella which reads "having a roof over my head is an abundant of blessing". It is a reminder me that I should never take for granted that I live in a home, when there are so many others that are without one. Because there is so much more room to write, I can come back to the page any time and write in another inkling when that time comes. I just LOVE to write what my heart is thinking.

Thus for this book, I had to make a cover. I wanted a cover that would say exactly what I was using this book for. I thought maybe "Inspirational Journaling", "Journaling for HIS Kingdom" and even "Bible Journaling for HIM"... but all wasn't the one that the Lord wanted me to use. Instead, he placed upon my heart the title of "In HIS Presence".... and oh boy! It just really is that. Whenever I sit, and ponder and meditate on the verse HE has allowed me to work on for that day... I spend time with HIM, thus I am in HIS presence. No place I'd rather be.... So here you have it...

Here is how I created it. The little girl is me... :) I took the cover off, and adhered DSP to it. I used my Cinch Machine to squeeze back the coils when I was done.  The little girl cut is from Little Scraps of Heaven Design's "Little Buggers" set, the little girl is holding a net in this set. But I thought with her just sitting here would look great even without the net.  The pencil cut is from Little Scraps of Heaven Design's "Back to School Penguins". The pencil was a symbol of my journaling.  I love that I have this book, and am looking forward in creating more pages, and adding more journaling to it. 

 

Here is a close up of the little girl cut. In the Lord's eyes, I am HIS lil' princess, and HIS princess I will always be....
