Cake Toppers Cut on eClips Machine

Recently cut these for a friend whose daughter graduated from high school this year. I cut the name and word 3 times on regular white cardstock, then once on gold glitter paper. Adhered them on top of each other to make them thick and 3D. These were made to be cake toppers. Scroll below to see. Scroll even lower for a quick tip on gluing these pieces together, especially for the thin parts. I cut these all on the eClips2 machine. 

Quick Tip on gluing thin pieces: When gluing thin pieces, you can either use a bottle of glue with a thin tip (which sometimes kills me cause it takes FOREVER for the glue to come out, or I have to always clear the way with a pin or something small tiny that can fit into that tip), or you can be like me and take a paper clip, and use that to grab and dab glue to the pieces that you need to get to. 🙂 Super easy and we all have paper clips, right????

Mini Diaper Cake with Zoo Animal Toppers

Aloha!! Hope you are having a blessed week!! The year is almost OVER!! October is the month that everything just starts to feel like we're going down hill quickly.... I actually start to make my Christmas list this month, and I haven't even started that yet, so I already feel like I'm BEHIND!! I need to get on it, and start ordering stuffs so I can get them in on time. Anyways, after October, Thanksgiving comes, and then CHRISTMAS!! Thanking Jesus for this blessed day that we get to celebrate HIS birth. Did you know that it probably wasn't even in December that Jesus was born??  Interesting fact, right??? 

This past weekend, a friend asked me to make some mini diapers for a baby shower she was hosting. I used Little Scraps of Heaven Design's Zoo Animals 1, 2 & 3!! Loved these adorable animals. They are too CUTE!!  Here's how they turned out!!!

Angry Birds' Birthday Party

Remember this post? Well... here are more pics from that party.  My niece and I also worked on a King Pin Pinata - it was sooo fun to make.  She made the actual pinata, and I made the face.  Instead of hanging it, the kids threw a ball at it, as it sat on some boxes, and the more it fell, the more damages it took.  Finally, my niece took a paddle to it, and busted it open.

I've only posted pics of the party that pertained to the Angry Birds' theme.  I will work on some digi pages, and get those pics up soon!!  Oh, I almost forgot!!!  The instructions for the King Pig Pinata came from this blog: The Crafty Woman.  :)  Happy Crafting!!!!

Lilo and Stitch Guest Book and Card Box for Niece's 1st Birthday Party

Aloha and Welcome!! Wow last week was a crazy week for me... had to keep away from blogland, due to my grand niece's 1st birthday party. My niece had asked me to make a bunch of goodies for her daughters party, and I was of course, happy to do so. Here are some of the projects I made. I will share the rest throughout this week.

The sign-in Guest Book - her theme was "Lilo n' Stitch"... I found a Lilo n' Stitch image online, and with a little help from Photoshop Elements, was able to remove and add things. Both front and back covers were laminated.

Here are the inside pages. I created on Word, simply by using the columns feature. For the Lilo image on the bottom right, after printing the wordings and lines (or you could print it before, wither way works), I printed Lilo at the bottom in a lighter opacity, probably around 33%.


I used my Bind-It-All to bind the book together. The coils that I used were Cinch coils, which I was delighted to find out that they worked with the BIA, especially because they were cheaper than the BIA coils. I then added random ribbons to the coil. I also added the ribbons because I made a mistake with punching the holes, and this ribbon technique covered up my mistake. "o)

I also created the Card Box... I covered a large Ziploc box (the one from Sam's Club that holds 4 boxes of Gallon size Ziploc boxes). I covered it with gift wrapping paper, inside out. All cuts on the box was cut on my Cricut using SCAL. I had a Lilo image converted to an SVG format. The font that I used was Cheri. I was very happy with how Lilo turned out. I also did a Stitch, but the photo of that little fella is on another camera, which I cannot currently find. Ugh!! After pasting them all together, I used Stickles to add some glittery look.

These hibiscus flowers were found online as well, and converted to an SVG file. Along with the fern plant. I sponged the edges of each flower and plant to give them some depth.

It was such an awesome opportunity for me to help with my niece's daughter's 1st birthday. I was so blessed and honored that she allowed me to create for her. Here is the little princess....
