 Happy Monday!!!! Created these cards with Queen & Co's Fancy Frame Kit (WCMD Kit '20), DSP's are from DoodleBug Designs, Gina K Designs and Stampin' Up! Scripture stamps from Divinity Designs (f.k.a. Our Daily Bread Designs).

Galaxy Mixed Media Pages

Aloha Crafty Friends!!!

Hope all is well with you. I have another Mixed Media creation to share with all of you. I created these pages to look like "Galaxy Pages". It was so much fun creating with Pan Pastels at first, then switching over to acrylic paints, because I realized I used a little too much black and covered most of what the galaxy supposed to have been. LOL!!! But all it all, it turned out so pretty n' cool!! I also created a video sharing how I created these Galaxy Pages. I also used an RG Avenue Star Die Cut to create a Stencil that I used on my pages. Here are how my pages turned out. My video is after these pics.

Here are products I used to create these pages:

• Acrylic Paints (Black, White, Blue, Lime Green)
• Pan Pastels (Yellow, Magenta, Teal, Green)
• Star Struck 2-in-1 Die Cuts from RG Avenue
• Gesso
• Modge Podge
• Craft Glue
• Plastic Acetate (I used a backing from one of my RG Stamps)
• Spackle 
• Brother Laser Jet Printer (to print the scripture)
• Sponges
• White Cardstock
• PhotoShop Elements 13

Little C's Aloha Friday Challenge: Scripture Challenge

Aloha Gang!!! Happy Aloha Friday!!!  I apologize for the week break. We left for a trip to witness the nuptials of my oldest boy to his beautiful bride.  We headed to WA, and I thought I was going to be able to post my challenge, because we returned the night before last week's challenge, but the next day, I was pooped. Haven't really had any crafty mojo for the last week... but I think it's time to get up n' get going!!!  

So first off, thank you to ALL of you that have played along!! Such beautiful cards!! I haven't had a chance to visit n' leave a comment, but will do so today. However, a winner has been chosen, and it is:

The embossing is from FSJ, and the stamp is from Sweet & Sassy Stamps. I used Pan Pastels to go over the embossing, so that the image would pop. :)

But They That Wait Upon The Lord

Aloha!! Sharing a 3 panel card with you all today!! For this card, I used Karen Buriston's Oval Accordion Card Dies. I also used Stampin' Up!'s "Remarkable You" stamp set, and a stamp from Our Daily Bread. I stamped the flowers on watercolor paper, and colored with watercolor paints.

For the middle panel, I simply flicked some ink off of my watercolor paint brush to get the splatter look on the panel.

Scripture Challenge #FHL017

Happy Monday, y'all!!!  It's time for another Scripture Challenge.  Awww... so sad, only 1 person played last week.  But, hey - it's OK!! God is GOOD!!! He wanted to bless Ginny with 7 free digital images from Bugaboo, so be it!!!  Thank You, Jesus!!! Now for my sample...ohhhh... I had so much FUN piecing this project together!!  This is for a page in my scripture book.  I am trying to create at least 1 page a week.  Having this scripture challenge really really helps to motivate me to create with God's WORD. 

Cuts are from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs "Lion and The Lamb" cut file. I also used the "Scalloped Wave" cut file from LSHD.

Ok, moving on... I have a little container filled with images that I've already colored. I have been meaning to get them on cards, but just haven't had the chance to. While looking through this box of image, I found this image to use on my card. Worked out perfectly, as it was already colored to the colors that I wanted to use.  :)

For my project, I am using the FREEBIE scripture from Word Art Wednesday.  Every Wednesdays, they have an "Anything Goes" challenge, and the owner also creates a FREEBIE of a scripture to share. So sweet, ya??  I have been meaning to play along, using one of their FREEBIES, as I usually play along with my own scriptured stamps.  But I thought I'd finally take on their challenge, and play with their FREEBIE this time.  The scripture FREEBIE for this week is from 1 Samuel 2:2.

Now for this week's Scripture Challenge.... same rules apply, you can create any type of paper project, as long as there is a scripture from the Holy Bible on it. Here is my sample for this week's challenge... I have created this for a sister in Christ, that had requested this about a year or so ago.  Well, time flew, and I had gone into surgery, never really got the chance to do it, until now... I think the desire to color with copics had died down a little... and now, I think the desire is BACK!!!  LOL... so here is my project....

I printed this digital image out to fit a 8" x 10" frame, using my laser printer. Image is from Saturated Canary.  The scripture is from Sweet n' Sassy Stamps, and my Sister in Christ had requested that I put a scripture that comes to my heart... and this was the perfect one that I saw.  I hope she likes it!!!  :)

Hebrews 11:1

Aloha!! Sorry, I didn't have a chance to post yesterday! I woke up too late, had to get the kids ready and dropped off at school, and then to meet with my bestie Rose and her hubby Matt, and their newest addition for breakfast!! We all had a great time catching up, talking stories, and then when breakfast was over, I headed to Lena to get my nails done. I will post pics of my nails tomorrow. 

Here is a card I've created for a dear family that is transplanting to the mainland.  They have been our host of our home fellowship for the last 2 years.  The military has given them order to continue on, and move forth, and we are going to miss them dearly.  Praying that they will continue to bless others as they have blessed us!!  This card was made for the entire group of our home fellowship to sign.  I will be making another one from our family to theirs.  The reason why we aren't signing this one is because we haven't been attending the home fellowship these last couple of Friday's due to my son, CY4's volleyball games (which falls on Fridays and Saturdays).  Plus, I wanna send a little bit of Hawaii their way, anyway.  :)

Created this card for a military family that has retired, and relocating to the mainland.  :) We will truly miss them!!
