Mini Hand Sanitizer Holder CUT from Creations By AR

Hi Gang!!! 

Been crazy busy!!  I had my 1st Stampin' Up! class, called it "Class A" this past Friday and Saturday.  Had such a great time with the ladies.  I keep forgetting to take pics of faces... but most of my ladies do not want their pics on the web, so need to respect their privacy!!  Anyways, I just wanted to pop in and share with you the favors that I created for them.  I will be posting the projects within the next couple of days..... 

Here are the favors.  I purchased the Test Tube Cut from Creations By AR.  It was an SVG file.  I made the cut a little smaller {{10.794 x 9.114 to be exact - just make sure you click on "Keep Proportions" box before entering those figures in the W/H boxes}}.  The DSP I used is from Stampin' Up!'s current Holiday Mini Catalog - you can view the online catalog on my blog's sidebar.

Christmas Faith Songs For HIS Glory Blog Hop.....

Hi Gang!! Aloha and Happy Wednesday!! Today I am participating in a blog hop with these lovely talented ladies listed below. You should've just came from Susan's blog. I have chosen the song "O Holy Night".... I just LOVE this beautiful song!! I loved it way before I gave my life to the Lord, and loved it even more thereafter, because it had a whole new meaning!! The Night that the Lord was born was a most Holy One!! He was born unto us, so that he could fulfill prophecy and offer us a way into heaven. I know that for those of you that don't know Him, might think that this sounds crazy!! That is exactly how I've felt when I was told about Him the 1st time. But as I've seen the changes that He has done in my life, my husband's life, my family life... wow, what an awesome God He is!! I look forward to the many changes that will take place in my life because of Him. But I thank Him, and on that night that He was born to us, it was truly a Holy Night.

The project that I have been working on is a calendar. I have several calendars that I've been working on; a digital one to have printed up and given to my family members, and a desk top one. The desk top one is one created with die cuts and will be on a wire bounding. Here is the month of December, which I found it perfect to be for the "O Holy Night" song. The die cuts are from My Scrap Chick. Love this set!!!

Oh Praise HIM!! My song choice for Faith Song for His Glory Blog

Aloha & Welcome!! I am the Guest DT today over at the "Faith Song For His Glory" blog. I created 2 cards using silhouette images of a little boy a little girl. I converted them to SVG's and cut them on my Cricut using SCAL. The song that I've chosen this time around is "Oh Praise Him". To Praise God is to give HIM all the Glory for everything that is going on around you and in your life. When you Praise Him, you are thanking Him, and even in hard times, you are praising Him that He has a plan for you, and that the outcome may not be something that you like, or it may be very well something you like, but whichever the case, the Lord has His plans and doesn't need to explain Himself at all.

Prayer is an important part of Praising the Lord. It is when you are talking with Him and spending time with Him. There is a lot of Praising that goes on in my prayers. Therefore, I made these cards for that very reason. For someone might need prayer, or a "Thinking of You" card, and these images reminds me of how it is so important to always Praise the Lord. If you haven't taken the time today to Praise Him, go ahead.... start with the little things... Thank Him for allowing you to be here, with your family n' friends....

Lilo and Stitch Guest Book and Card Box for Niece's 1st Birthday Party

Aloha and Welcome!! Wow last week was a crazy week for me... had to keep away from blogland, due to my grand niece's 1st birthday party. My niece had asked me to make a bunch of goodies for her daughters party, and I was of course, happy to do so. Here are some of the projects I made. I will share the rest throughout this week.

The sign-in Guest Book - her theme was "Lilo n' Stitch"... I found a Lilo n' Stitch image online, and with a little help from Photoshop Elements, was able to remove and add things. Both front and back covers were laminated.

Here are the inside pages. I created on Word, simply by using the columns feature. For the Lilo image on the bottom right, after printing the wordings and lines (or you could print it before, wither way works), I printed Lilo at the bottom in a lighter opacity, probably around 33%.


I used my Bind-It-All to bind the book together. The coils that I used were Cinch coils, which I was delighted to find out that they worked with the BIA, especially because they were cheaper than the BIA coils. I then added random ribbons to the coil. I also added the ribbons because I made a mistake with punching the holes, and this ribbon technique covered up my mistake. "o)

I also created the Card Box... I covered a large Ziploc box (the one from Sam's Club that holds 4 boxes of Gallon size Ziploc boxes). I covered it with gift wrapping paper, inside out. All cuts on the box was cut on my Cricut using SCAL. I had a Lilo image converted to an SVG format. The font that I used was Cheri. I was very happy with how Lilo turned out. I also did a Stitch, but the photo of that little fella is on another camera, which I cannot currently find. Ugh!! After pasting them all together, I used Stickles to add some glittery look.

These hibiscus flowers were found online as well, and converted to an SVG file. Along with the fern plant. I sponged the edges of each flower and plant to give them some depth.

It was such an awesome opportunity for me to help with my niece's daughter's 1st birthday. I was so blessed and honored that she allowed me to create for her. Here is the little princess....

Digi Image Sundays - Tiddly Ink's **NEW** Image

Good Morning Friends!! I hope you are having a fan-tabulous weekend. We had a little scare on Friday afternoon, first a thunder storm, and then a phone call from my hubby calling from work stating that he needed to be taken to the E.R., because a bunch of insulation at work fell on top of his leg, causing great pain to his ankle. This pile of insulation that fell on him was nearly 300 pounds. It forced him to the floor, causing his glasses to fall off, and the forklift nearby drove over his glasses. So not only was he in pain, he could hardly see!! It's a good thing that the kids were on Spring Break, so we headed down to get him pronto! Well, after 2-1/2 hours at the E.R., turns out that his ankle was just a sprain, Thank God!!!

Yesterday evening we attended a wedding. Because of DH's foot, we didn't stay very long. But it was nice to get out together, just the two of us, and have the night out alone, it was like we were on a date. Well, here is a gate-fold card that I created for the bride n' groom. The image is a Tiddly Ink's image, which is a newly released image. Christy is having a 25% sale beginning today, and ending on the 3rd of May. So if you haven't already done so, go check out the new images that she's added to her collection. You will not be disappointed!!

I cut the Circle Scallop on my Cricut using my SCAL program. I found a very neat font that allows me to cut these types of shapes. Very interesting to find all sorts of free images on the net. I colored the image with Copic Sketch Markers, and flowers are from All Natural Accents.

Freedbie Friday: Milk Carton on SCAL: SVG and SCUT Cut Files!

Happy Aloha Friday! Freebie Friday is here!! Today I have a Milk Carton cut file for the SCAL. I have both SVG and SCUT files available. Here is what I created with this cut....




Sentiment is from Dandelion Designs, Cow is a cut from Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge. The spots on the milk carton were hand cut and sponged on the edges.

Panda Die Cut

Here is a Panda cut that I made on the SCAL program, which resembles the Panda Quikutz that is currently out on the market, or maybe no longer available? I'm not sure. This is one of the 1st cut I created with my SCAL program, so I was utterly excited when it turned out soooooo cute!!!

Kid Robot on SCAL - Request For Cut File Here

I used my SCAL program and Cricut to make this Kid Robot Cut. Made it for a friend of mines who needed them to go on favors for her nephew's party favors. Everyone at the party was amazed of these cuts. I made 75 of these.... there were 6 different layers/pieces that I pieced and adhered together to make each one complete. Thanks to my girlfriend, Barbara who helped me out with piecing them together. I've never heard or seen this cartoon character until she requested for me to make this for her. LOL!!

SCAL Gable Box

Awwww.... good morning friends!!! This week over at Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii, we are featuring Chalsie of Paper Kisses as our 2nd Aloha Blogger. Every other week, we will pick a blogger that creates, and blogs, and we ask her a few questions. She answers them, and shares a few of her creations. The next day, we share with you what this Aloha Blogger has inspired us, by creating something that we've seen off of her blog. Now, this can be ANYBODY that blogs. Right now, we are featuring those of Hawaii... but when we run out of Hawaii bloggers, we will be looking for others out there. So if you have someone in mind, and would like to challenge us in creating her projects, and featuring her on SSH, please email stampnscrap808@gmail.com to have us check her out and hopefully she'll agree with being featured. =0)

Anyways, after finding out that Chalsie was our featured blogger, I wanted to create some kinda box that Chalsie had. I wanted to use my Cricut, and wanted to make something that I could cut with my cricut. Well, I saw this gable box that Chalsie created, and I knew that it was what I wanted to create. But because I knew that it would take me more time to "create" it on my Cricut, than to put it together, I had to put much thought into this project. I finally realized that I could create it using my most recent purchase of the Sure Cuts A Lot program (Thanks for pushing me, Eunice!!!). Oh my goodness... what this program can do is totally OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! There's just too much explaining to do about this program, but just trust me - it is awesome!!! For those of you that don't own the DS program because it isn't compatible with your MAC - this program is something you might want to consider.

With the program, I was able to create this gable box. I had SCAL cut it, and wha-la, all finish!! I put it together, and wow, how fun was that??! You bet, I will definately have more projects using the SCAL - and I can't believe how long I've put off from NOT purchasing it. I don't regret purchasing all those cartridges for the Cricut... this program is just another asset added to my collection of goodies!!! Yeeee haw!!!

Ok, I'm off to a busy day today... got Cy's orientation for school (K) and then all kinds of things going on.. can't wait, going to be a busy but fun day!!! Enjoy your weekend.... oh, and don't forget to head on over to Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii to check out what the other DT's came up with.
