Day 4!!  LOL!!  Still celebrating... it's been a fun couple of days, hasn't it??  I'm enjoying that I am getting to know you all a little more, and just being able to bless someone with a package of yummies is fun too!!!

Our winner from yesterday's draw is:

Congrats to Day 1 & Day 2 winners! Well, I've never really thought about it, but I would have to say when my MOM made me a surprise 40th Birthday Party at her house. I didn't suspect a thing and was totally surprised with all my family being there to celebrate. She said she wanted to do it because I had thrown her 2 surprise parties, one at her house and one at my house.
Aloha Hugs,
Gina

And here's what Day 4's blessings consists of:

(MISSING PICTURE!!!!! Because I took the picture, but when I transferred to my computer, I deleted by accident, but I had already packaged the yummies getting it ready for mailing!!)  Therefore, this is a "secret" package... TRUST that I have a package of yummies!!!  :)

Just comment anything you wanna say... :)

Here's a project I have to share with ya... thought I'd post my project together with the giveaway.... easier to do!!  :)  A sympathy card I recently made for a dear brother that went home to be with our Lord!!

Masquerade Masks for Friends!!!!

A couple of weeks ago, my gf Ruby had asked me if I could help her with creating a mask for her n her hubs for a masquerade party they were invited to.  Of course I jumped on it!!!  :)  I was thinking of going to Party City, purchasing some feathers, and paint and, and, and.... then I thought, why not use what I already have ON HAND!!!  Right??  So quick to jump on wanting to purchase NEW things, but yet forget about using what I already HAVE!!!  So, I started looking online for mask ideas... I found a couple of SVGs to create masks, and then I found this blog post by Okie Ladybug, where she used the butterfly from the Indie Art Cricut Cartridge to create with!!!  Oh so pretty!!  So I CASED her work, and piggy backed on her idea.  I used the same butterfly, and created my gf's mask.  Then for her hubby's mask,I search online again for a mask that would be fairly masculine.  Kinda hard to find.... I wanted it to be nice looking, and not dorky looking.  So I found one that was in between, I call it the "stealth look"!!  LOL...  I cut the butterfly mask on my Cricut Cartridge using Cricut's Design Studio and Indie Art cartridge.  I cut the stealth mask on my eClips machine, using my eCal program.  So LOVE that I can utilize both machines for different reasons, yet the same!!!  KWIM?

Thanks for peeking!!!!

Busy Busy Busy Bee!!!

Hey Gang!!  Happy Aloha Friday!!  Well, I am done taking a video of my "organized" craft area, but there has been so much going on, I haven't had the time to edit it, just yet.  Thank You for being patient, I hope to have it up by next Friday.

Well, here's a few things that have been occupying my time...

My sister is in town!!  Yay!!  Been spending some time with her and making use of that time by eating, hanging out, and talking stories with lots of laughs in between!!  Love this girl...

One of the places we had breakfast at was YogurStory! Yummz!!  She loved it... the coffee... the red velvet waffles... the Loco Moco... all so very yum!!
on the 10th of February, I helped the keikis (kids) of our church create these cute butterflies and flower lollipops as a Valentine Day craft project.  It was really fun and neat to see the kids love on making these projects.  Esp the part where they get to eat the lollipop!  I don't think anyone actually made it far enough to take home and give to someone else.  haha!!  That day, my lil' one was sick (and he still has his cough), and he didn't get to go to church, so I had to hurry home as soon as I was done with helping the keikis.  :)  Here are a couple of pictures taken the day before, when he was able to help me create some samples.

You can get these cut outs from Skip To My Lou blog.

I also helped one of my girlfriend's move from one city to another... it was a fun day, but the next day I was in pain! Back ache, neck ache, and just tired!  LOL!!!

On Valentine's, me n' my boys went to dinner at Tadashi, a sushi joint near our home town.  YUMMERZ!!!!

Then we went out for ice cream...  yes, we went all out!!!  LOL!!!
My dad's 75th birthday was the very next day... so MORE eating!!!  :)
We went to visit Gramma on his birthday, and she got a kick outtah my phone being able to take pics of herself, and seeing herself in the "camera" before it was even taken.  Pretty neat to watch that fascination.  My sister and I had a lot of fun together with Gramma.

I also worked on a sympathy card for a dear brother, that went to be with our Lord!  Will share the completed project in a later post!  But here is what I was cutting on my machine....

And currently, I am in a midst of creating 40 Baby Shower Favors for my next door neighbor.  But here were the samples I created before the completed project.  Will share the completed project in another post later.

Yep!!  Craziness right now...  I pray that you and your family are having a great time, and if you are going crazy as well, I pray that it is a fun kinda crazy!!!!

Enjoy your weekend!!! Happy Crafting!!!!

A Bigger Gift Bag from My Scrap Chick

Photo: Sisterly Breakfast... Oh-so-Yummy!!! Good for the soul...... @lueva

Aloha Friends!!!  Yesterday I had such a busy day!!  It was a rainy day, and I soooo love the rain!!  Love the sounds, love the smell, love the feel... well, I wouldn't be out running around in the rain, but love when it pitter-patters on my roof tops, and it gives me a cozy kinda feeling....  that's the "feel" I'm talking about.

Photo: The first isle I always ck out when I go to Sam's!!! #Pens #PenFreak #SamsClubI had breakfast with my sister in Christ, Lu-Lu.  We went to Yogur Story located in downtown Honolulu. Ohhh sooo yummmm!!!  Well, whenever she isn't working, Lu-Lu and I try and get in a few girlfriend time, and just have either coffee or breakfast together.  Love her.  We both had a yummy coffee, I went with the Caramel Machiatto, and she the White Mocha Latte... we both like them sweet.  We also had the same dish... the Loco Moco...  the original Loco Moco is usually served with hamburger steak.  However, Yogur Story serves theirs with Prime Rib!!  Oh My... SOOOO Delish!!!  They also have an AWESOME, I mean, AWESOME Red Velvet Waffles!!!  If you have never been to Yogur Story, I recommend that you do try their Red Velvet Waffles the first time you go there.  You will sooooo love it!!!

After breakfast, I headed home, threw in a load of laundry and took care of bills.  I then did a quick run to Sam's Club, had to 1st a new card because it was in my wallet when it was stolen, and I love that Sam's has two lines - one for returns, and the other for membership renewals/passes.  I didn't have to wait long!  Oh to shopping... oh don't you just love the office supply isle?  Especially all those pens!!! I always have to stop by and check out what kinda pens they have in stock.   Yummmmmerz!!!!

Ok, stop messing around Jen, get to the good stuff!!  LOL... really every day is a good day for me, an exciting, fun filled day!!  I try to make it that, at least!!!  After picking up a "few" things (I was only supposed to go in for 3 items, but came out with 15!!!  Yeeeesh!!!  Isn't that ALWAYS the case?  So when I got home, it was already time to get the boys from school.  I had a meeting scheduled at 6 pm, so I needed to start on dinner early.  I was smart to pick up a Rotisserie Chicken from Sam's.  Not much to cook, but the rice!!  :)  I got a chance to talk stories on the phone with my girlfriend Ms. Wini for a little bit, but we weren't done with our convo.  The hubs called, and interrupted our convo, and the next thing I knew, time flew, and I was at my meeting.  Phew!!  It was a rainy and wet drive there, and I did a lot of squinting on the road, trying to make sure I stayed within my lane, and the cars besides me stayed within theirs!!!  LOL... when I got home, it was nearly 10 pm!!  Long day...  and now to do it all again!!!

MY PROJECT: Here is a cute bag that I cut on my Cricut using a cut from My Scrap Chick.  I purchased the Bigger Bags Set.  This set has a bunch of bag cuts, that you can cut on your Cricut (if you have the old SCAL version 2), and your eClips (if you have the eSCAL), using their SVG's file.  I just wanted to cut a bag to put these goodies within them, and of course I wanted to put my Cricut to use.  I have never used sooo much of my Cricut this past Christmas, and I am sooooo glad I did.  You know how you buy something, and you don't really use it?  Yea, now I can say that I really used it to it's full potential.  LOL!!  I still have to "bust into" the eClips machine.  Wanna use that one more.  Not very much difference in the Cricut, but I guess you could say that I wanted to have more cartridges, and options to use. Hopefully I can put my eClips to use more often this year.  Anyways, gotta run, time to start my day.  I hope you have a blessed one as well!!!  See ya tomorrow...  **wink**

Sakura Decorated Acrylic Air-Tight Containers

Hey Gang!!  Happy Tuesday!!  Well, my Monday yesterday started off pretty good.  I like to do my house chores on Monday, and try to get them done before the weekend.  But somehow, towards the middle of the week, I don't want to do any more house chores!  I wanna throw in the towel, and just CREATE to my every hearts content!!  **sigh** Yea, ain't gonna happen!!!  Everyday there are dishes, everyday there is at least 1 load in the wash, and everyday, there is always a corner in my house to de-clutter.  I got to do some laundry, the dishes and even got to create a card for the upcoming Clear Dollar Digital Stamp Release (coming on the 15th of January).  I was "trying" to do a video, which I think will be a whole lot fun to do, but when I reviewed the video, I sounded kinda weird, and nervous!!  Me???  Nervous???  Yes...  so that video that I did, ain't gonna be posted.  Hah!!  I was making all kine mistakes, and had to redo the scene.  Crazy!!  Well, I'm gonna try and put a video together anyways, and see how it works out, and you can see how I go to work and put my ideas into paper.  It is only going to be something fun for me to do....

Another thing I was thinking of was having a BLOG Candi Giveaway!!!  It has been a while since I've had one of those... and I still have tons of goodies to give away.  What do you think?  Should I do one??  Ok... I will!!  :)  I'll gather a bunch of goodies to do a giveaway... hmmm, let's call it a "Happy New Year 2013 Blog Candi Giveaway!!!".  Maybe I'll do it this Friday?  Well, stay tuned, I will keep you posted.

MY PROJECT: The project I have posted today are of these acrylic containers that I found at WalMart.  I decorated them using vinyl from Glue Arts.  They have various colored vinyl, available in 12x12", which makes it perfect for my Cricut and eClips Machines.  The cartridge that I used was the "Pagoda" cartridge for the Sakura Flower and Tree.  Most of our church family received this gift, within it, yummy local kine snacks!!!  :)

I'm almost done with sharing all of my created Christmas projects.  I hope you're not getting bored with them.  But please continue to return, and see what it is that I will have for Blog Candi Giveaway.  Thanks again for stopping by.  Have a blessed Tuesday!!  Aloha!!
