Valentine Cards

I know, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted, and I’m sorry for that... but here are some Valentine’s Day cards I’ve made.... praying all is well with you and your family!

Most of these cards were made with Queen and Company products. Also DoodleBug Designs.

Blessings,

Jen

Congrats

Happy Election Day!! Hope you did your part and voted!!! Also pray for those you've voted for, and those that are currently in office. The USA needs all the prayers we can get!!!

Created this "Congrats" card for a fellow crafty friend of mines who recently had a new addition to her 'ohana (family). Created this with Queen & Co's "Congrats Sentiment Stacker" kit. I cut word out of reg foam, and border out of glitter foam. Before Queen & Co, I never cut any of my dies with foam. LOL!!! Now, I'm like "Oh words!!! Cut them on foam!!!" DSPs are from DoodleBug Designs.

Have a blessed day and thank you for stopping by!!!

Collage Picture Frame

Aloha n' Howzit Everybody!!! Praying all is well, and that you aren't going too crazy with all that has been going on. Here is a frame given to me by my SiL. I added some Doodlebug Design's "Bits n' Pieces" and decorated this frame. This frame collage consists of pics from my Pineapple Bear's 1st BDay party.

Thanks for stopping by!!

You Are Loved

This darling sheep image is from Doodle Bug Designs. I just love how these cards turned out. The sheep was colored with watercolor, added some foam tape to the back, and stuck it on my card. ;) I used this card sketch from Pinterest.

Sympathy Cards and More

Sympathy Cards created sometime ago... these came from an old paper pumpkin kit from Stampin' Up!

Here's an adorable card I created using the print to cut feature on my eClips2 machine, cutting out this printed image from Doodle Bug Designs.

These cards were created using a sentiment from RG Avenue, and 3-Step Stampin' from AlTenew. The RG Avenue stamp was actually part of a bigger stamp, that I cut apart (see pic below). Don't be afraid to cut up your stamps, it just gives you more ways to utilize your stamps.

Now I have 3 stamps in 1!! I can us the plant stamp on any thing now, without having to worry about the words.

Aloha,
Jen

Olive Me Loves Olive You

Aloha!!! Here are some cards I created, to add to the Valentine's Day Cards order that I am working on. These are real simple cards, as the person ordering said make them pretty simple and no brainer kine... so, I'm just printing these cuties up from Doodle Bug Designs and cutting them on my eClips2 Machine, and adhering them to the card base that she provided. I found the sentiment online, and thought it was brilliant. I think I have about 30 more to go... phew!!!

American Heritage Girl Pen Pal Card

Happy Tuesday All!! Did you know that there is a Christian Alternative to Girl Scouts? Yep... there is, and it's called American Heritage Girls. Here is a card I created for a lil' girl at my church. It is her first time writing a letter to her Pen Pal whom she met through her American Heritage Girls group. Her mom had asked me if I could help make her first pen pal writing experience a fun one, and I was happy to help.

I looked at the AHG uniform and thought I'd look through my Greeting Farm sets, and see if there were any stamp dolls that had a similar looking outfit. I was so happy to find that "Rosemary" from the "Hatters" set actually had a body that looked very similar to the AHG Uniform. But, her head didn't match. SO, I checked to see if I had the "Cute Scout" set (which is actually inspired by the Girl Scouts), but the uniform on the girl didn't match. SO, I did a head-body swap!  I cut the body off of Rosemary and put it together with the head of the girl in the "Cute Scout" set. This is what I came up with. It was super quick and super fun to create. I colored with Copic Sketch Markers, and just made a simple card with the die cut "Hello" which I got from My Favorite Things.

Here is a closer look at the head-body swap. As you can see, I cut on the lines to avoid seeing any whites. Just need to be steady with your scissors when cutting, but it is very doable. Take your time, and listen to worship music to avoid unintentional cuts. LOL!!

The DSP that I used on this card is from Doodle Bug Designs. The Inks and Cardstock are from RG Studio 360 (Black) and (Rich Cherry). Thanks for popping in!

Happy Aloha Sunday

Aloha Gang!!! It has been a beautiful start of 2019!! God is good!! The fireworks in Hawaii was beautiful, even tho' there is a fireworks ban here. The culture is just more than the law... either way, we enjoyed it. We didn't pop any ourselves, but hearing the fireworks go off is just something we traditionally lived with. Praise God that our animals didn't get spooked by it, and they all slept throughout the popping noise!

So, as you've seen, I've changed up the monthly challenge. Making it a weekly theme thing... but I didn't get a chance to work on anything for the 1st week. Maybe after this post. ;) I have a Valentine's Day Cards order, and I sorta wanna get that outtah the way before I do anything else. So gonna be sharing with ya'll all the cards I've made so far. These cards fit perfectly for my personal craft challenge, the #LCs1aDayChallenge. ;) I am on day 6!! But will share Day 6 in another post... here are projects for Days 1 thru 5....

All cards were created with Doodle Bug Designs, the first bunch were created with Pink & Main Stamps.  I was thinking I'd color some images, and then realized how long it would take. I have about an order of 100 cards to make... or so... you can imagine that I would rather make them as simple and cute as possible! ;)

Thanks for stopping by!!! Hope your 2019 is a blessed one!!!

Aloha,
Jen
