Baby Shark 1st Birthday

Created this paper pieced project using an SVG cut file I found online. This child loves the Baby Shark song, so I wanted to make a shark card, and found so many cute n' cheap shark cut files. I ended up getting a shark set with a bunch of different sharks, and I thought that was the best thing to do to get the best of my bucks.

Here's how the cuts look like before cutting them out on my eClips machine:

I used Distressed Oxide for the background, and a RG Avenue sentiment. I thought it turned out totally adorable!!!

Thanks for reading!

Aloha,
Jen

We Are Going To Be Grand Parents

Happy Aloha Friday!!!! Yesterday my son and his beautiful bride announced to the public that they are going to be having a baby. We are so blessed and totally stoked. Baby is due in February of 2019. So looking forward in meeting our lil' mo'opuna (grand child). He or she will be our little pineapple.... Thank You, Lord, for this blessing... that you say comes from above. May we always rejoice in YOU, for this beautiful gift. Here is the announcement they posted to Facebook. Scroll below to view an adorable gate-fold card I created using RG Studio 360 digital images.

Here is a gate-fold card I created, I used RG Studio 360's digital image from their digital set called "Say Guac". Super fun and cute set. Funny, because I made this card last week before they announced. Of course, I already knew, but I didn't make this card for them. Just made it cause it was cute. I want to re-make this card, making the avocados a little bit lighter and brighter. But this is the color of avocados when I usually eat them. LOL!!!  Anyways, thank you in rejoicing with me and celebrating this new season with all of us.

 Thanks for stopping by!!!

Aloha,
Jen

My Paper Piecing Projects From Last Week

Hey y'all... thanks for stopping by!!  I have 2 projects to share with you today.  Summer has started, and I'm watching a couple of kids, so it's kinda putting a toll on my creativity time. But trying to sneak in as much time as possible.  I was able to create these two paper piecing projects both of which cuts are from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs!

First a card created with "Heaven's Little Blessings", I used the standing angel for this card. Punched out the heart using a Stampin' Up! punch, and had her hold the heart in her hands.

On the inside, I stamped "Praying for you..."

My 2nd project consists of the elements from "Angel Bear on the Moon". I did use it's halo n' wings though. I thought it would look so cute in this fold down crib. I can easily fold it down for easy mailing. Looking forward to giving this one to a sister-in-Christ.  I know she will just love it!!!

Here it is folded flat.

Top view...
That's all I have for today, peeps!  I hope your day was blessed by these projects.

Aloha,
Jen

Happy New Baby

As you all probably know, my next door neighbor's DIL had a baby girl.  I helped her with the baby shower thrown for her, and baby arrived a couple of weeks later.  My, time flies...  a couple weeks later, I still didn't give them their gift, because I hadn't created a card. Well, I finally got my act together and created this:

The stamp set I purchased from Cute Stuff again.  :)  It is another set that has been sitting around collecting dust.  The die cut is from Stampin' Up!  I'll be hanging with my parents earlier today.  Maybe I will get some photo shots with them.  I need to get on the ball and work on cards for my sisters store.  I'm falling behind!  Ack!!

Well, hope you all have a blessed and beautiful day.  Thank You for popping in and sharing a part of your day with me.  I try to keep my posts short so that you can continue on to other blogs to read.  But please, let me know if you want me to write more.... I have sooo much more to share, if you want to hear more of me.  LOL!!

 Blessings ~

Baby Favors Using Stampin' Up!'s Mini Purse Die Cut

ALOHA!!!  Welcome back.. my GF is having a baby shower, and I was more than happy to opt to make the baby favors for her shower.  I knew exactly what I wanted to use for her favors.... Yes!!  I've created some adorable mini purses using Stampin' Up!'s Mini Purse Die Cut.  Here's how they turned out:

Yesterday, I posted a tutorial on how to tie a mini bow using 2 fingers.  I used those ribbons on these favors.  You can view the tutorial here if you missed it. Here's what I did to create the look of these purses:
  • Ran cardstock Wisteria Wonder (122922) through the Big Shot (113439), using the Petite Purse die cut (125606) to cut purse die cut.
  • Cut a 2-1/2 x 3" piece on white vellum, run through Big Shot - but just placing the piece over the part where the purse flap would cut.  Then run pieces through the big shot and embossing folder with chosen design.
  • Adhere the cut and embossed vellum piece to the flap section of the purse.
  • Assemble purse.
  • Cut 1/2" of vellum for purse strap.  Adhere cardstock strap to vellum strap, then used scallop scissors to cut the edge of the vellum to make scallop trimming.
  • Used white pel to decorate with dots and heart on the front of the purses.
  • Adhered mini bow, and lavender rose from All Natural Accents

That's about it!!  You can find all Stampin' Up! products that I've used here.  Thank you for spending a little part of your day with me here.

God Bless!!!

Baby Theme - Day 3

Here's a baby card I created without sentiment.... sometimes I like to make these sentiment-less cards, because the picture says it all.
