Digital Pages from Little Scraps of Heaven Design Digis and Me and My Frilly Hat

What's happening, people?? OMGeeeee... I've missed a day of blogging, because yesterday, my keyboard was acting up, and causing problems on my computer. I'm using an old keyboard right now, but will need to get a new one, because this one is not working the way I want it to work, either. But for now, it'll do.

So first, let me share these 2 digital pages I created using Little Scraps of Heaven Design Digi's. These are pics from the past, when my boys were younger. Miss when they were this age. Time has flown so fast!!!

Such adorable pages, right?? I used Photoshop Elements to create these pages. :) Such precious memories.

Ok, so yesterday, I've attended a tea party!! Oh how fun it was!! We had our sis in Christ n' friend, Dawn O'Brien also sharing a word of God. The time to dress up was so much fun n' everyone looked SO beautiful!!!! Here is a pic of me with my hat. I will create a couple of digital pages of the pics I took during the event. But here is the pic I took of myself:

I'm Baaaaaaccccck!!

Aloha Crafters!! It has been a month and a half since I've last posted. Thanksgiving, Christmas and ringing in 2015 came n' went!!  While I was gone, guess where my family and I headed off too?  We went to Seattle, WA!!!  It was our first time ever leaving the islands for Christmas. We went to our family friends home and stayed with them for nearly 2-1/2 weeks.  We met our college son there too.   I'm just getting back into creating and working on some digitally created pages from the pics we took during our trip.  I'll be posting them as I complete them.  Here are pics taken from day one, our flight out, December 19th, 2014:

    
I was able to complete another page before the day's end... yay me! I love how this layout turned out. I wanted to experiment with masking, and did it with the fireplace pic that I had taken, blending into the background paper. I also masked the background paper with a brick wall graphic n' grunge edges. I got the layout template from Scrap Orchard.

Lion King Digital Scrapbook 2 Page Layouts

Hey Gang...  thank you for all of your prayers. Healing has been going well.  I was off of Oxycodone the very next day, as it was making me dizzy... I then switched to Tylenol., 3 every 4 hours, for the next 2 days.  After that, pain subsided.  On the 7th day, my doctor removed the drain tubes. Thank You, Jesus!!  These tubes are the hardest part of all the process... at least to me it is.  I don't like them.  I tend to think that they might get caught on something and then "tug" on me accidentally.  Yuck.  Don't want to think about them.  Anyways, I'm still on restriction.... no driving til' week 6, and no lifting of arms.  I can't really stamp, so I've been working on my digital scrapbook pages again.

Here is a 2 page layout I created of pics taken back in January, when my boys n' I went with our friends.

Happy 1st of March - Doodle Pantry Release....

March ALREADY?!?!?  Yes,  I can't believe it either!! Well, new month....new release at Doodle Pantry!! So let's do this!!!

Some awesome scrapbook templates have been released this month, which I had the pleasure to play with. :) The templates are both digital and paper cutting friendly. Meaning, if you like digital scrapbooking, you can use the template with your digital program. And if you'd rather create with paper, you can cut the template out on your cutting machine and create your layout that way.  Either way, you can be creative however way you like.   The set this template comes out from is called "Scrap Cuts 1 SVG". Here is a view of all that comes in this set:

Doodle Pantry December Early Release - Project #2 Mustache Mishmash

Aloha and welcome to my blog!!  It's Saturday, the day after Black Friday.  Did ya'll go shopping?  I actually didn't do any gift shopping.  I dropped off my oldest son and his friend to a card store they wanted to check out, and my lil' one and I carried on the rest of the day by having lunch together at Zippy's then visiting our buddy, Cliff of J's Knicknacks.  He had EVERYTHING in the store at 50% off!!  WooooHoooo... I went there mainly to stock up on cutie-pie papers... we even found a bike for my lil' guy, and got it for only $10!!!  What a STEAL, right???  I'll post pics of my buys later...  

Today, I have project #2 of Doodle Pantry's Early December Release.  I hope you take the time to check out all the other releases, because there is also a 40% off sale going on!!!  Deals, Deals, and more Deals!!!!  Today's project, I used "Mustache Mishmash" to create a simple 12x12 digital page layout.  The photo in the layout shown below, is of my hubby and our friend Joe. My hubby decided to grow out his 'stache since the day I had my surgery (Oct. 16th), and throughout the month of November.  This pic was about 5 weeks after my surgery, which took him this long to get his beard this filled out.  :)  Joe always had a 'stache... :)  I created this digital page with all elements from the Mustache Mishmash set.  I will later send it to a lab to get printed, and then just slip it into a protector sheet, and into an album.  Easy Peasy!  I think it's the cheaper way to create a scrapbook page layout.  But I also understand the desire to create with paper and to be able to touch each element.  In this case, you could simple print out the elements, and then cut and decorate.  Just an idea....  :) Layout was created and designed on Photo Shop Elements... but I am pretty sure you can create it with any photo editing type program, including WORD.  



I've got more Dooodle Pantry projects to share with you tomorrow.  It's raining here in Hawaii-nei, and oh boy was it sure coming down strong last night.  I am happy that I don't need to water my garden this morning, and hope that the day will stay cool throughout.  Our winter is HERE!  :)

Aren't those stamps adorable (upper right photo)???  I don't know, but something about pudgy looking animals... they just look so cute n' adorable!  Can't wait to try them out and get them inked up!

Clear Digital Stamps July 2013 Release

Hey gang!! 

Thanks for popping in!!  It's that time of the month... the CDS or Clear Digital Stamps Release!!  Some fun projects I was blessed to work with as usual...  even a SVG cut file!!!  Here they are.... 

Starting with the SVG/PDF File by Lori McCroskey, this is a coffee/tea cup design, even comes with an adorable saucer!!!  I put the cup together, and used a sentiment from another digital set called "The Grind".  I then filled a cellophane bag with Hershey's Kisses and tied a ribbon to seal....

 Here is a card I created using the set called "Little Miracles". Image is colored with copic sketch markers, and the glitter-fied with shimmer glitter!

Here is a digital page layout I made using digital papers from "Such a Crab", images from "Tweet Hello".  The photos are of one of my palm trees that I repotted to make 6 palm tree plants yesterday.... it was hot, tiring, but fun!

Here is another card I created using "Sea Shells"... image colored with copic sketch markers.

My last set of projects created for this release, also using images and sentiments from "Sea Shells" digital stamp set... coasters w/magnet backing, decorated to put on any metal surface.  I put these on my kitchen door..... coasters are from Outback Steakhouse.
