Bridesmaids n' Matron of Honor Question Cards

Aloha Crafty Friends,

My 1st project of this year was to create these Bridesmaid n' Matron of Honor question cards. I was commissioned to create 7 for the Bridesmaid cards and 2 of the Matron of Honor cards. These cards were actually created with digital images from RG Avenue. I changed the opacity of each image to 45% so that it could have a "watercolor" look to them. Printed them out, and then added some twine n' sequence. Was pretty easy to create, and because there were a bunch, I'd rather do things easier n' print them out than having to stamp n' create each card. Yes, I'm brilliant like that (lazy, rather). But here they are... I didn't take a pic of all 7 of the Bridesmaids cards, as they all look the same. LOL!!

Hope you're having a blessed weekend. I started doing live videos on my FB Group "Little C's Creations". If you wanna join me during the lives, come join the group. I will try and figure out a way to link it to my blog. I am sure there is a way, right? In time... thanks again for stopping by!!

Aloha,
Jen

Day 16 House

Howdy Crafty Friend,

Day 16 of my Little C's Daily Challenge is "House"... here is an adorable wedding card I made using My Favorite Things die cuts, it was a monthly card kit that I purchased couple months ago. So cute!!! I stamped the word "Congratulations" on the inside of the card. Well, could be a wedding card, or a "New Home" card, right? Either way, it'll work. :)

I sponged the bodies of each bird with Whip Cream color, an RG Inspired ink pad. Also sponged a little of the birdhouse too. :)

Thanks for stopping by..... have a blessed week!!
Aloha,
Jen

Bridal Shower Gift

This past weekend, I attended a bridal shower.  I wanted to give her a super cute practical gift that she and the hubs could both use.  I got this idea off of Pinterest, and I'm glad that it came together pretty quick n' easy! :)

Found a wire kitchen basket, some kitchen tools, 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 2 wash cloths.... then wrapped in cellophane.....

The SVG cut came from an image I found online.  Converted it on my eCal program to cut on my eClips machine. F-U-N!

Wedding Card

Hi there peeps of blogland... hope all is going well with each and everyone of you.  Today is Halloween.  Praying you are all safe with Trick o' Treating, and church events. Praising God for this event, that people are reached and seek the love of Jesus.

I have been crafting slowly by slowly.  My mojo is returning and I'm slowly but surely getting there. A couple of weeks ago, I attended a friend's wedding.  The groom is actually one of my son's mentors, and my son returned home for the weekend. That made me so happy to see him and hug him and kiss him.  It was nice. Anyways, the wedding was happening the same weekend that Hurricane Ana was scheduled to touch down.  Praise God that it did a fly by, and didn't even hit us.  We did have some effect of her storm's edge, but it wasn't too bad.  The wedding was on the North Shore and I was a little worried with the storm coming in, but God is GOOD!!!  He is Faithful and the wedding was beautiful because of HIS mercy and grace upon us that day!!!  Thank You, Jesus!!!!

So, I created a card for the wedding... I thought it went perfect with their wedding invitation.  Because on their invite, it was a picture of him and her, him with a beard n' her with a beautiful smile... thus this card was a perfect match!  Here is a picture of them right after saying their "I Do's":

Here is the card I created for them:

Simply Sweet... all products used are of Stampin' Up! Thanks for stopping by!!

Aloha, Jen

Decorated Wedding Frame and What I Did This Weekend

Aloha Friends!  How was your weekend?  Mines was rather busy.  Our colds have been slowly going away.  In the mornings, I would have a dry and sore throat.  But I quickly realize that to get rid of the pain and dryness, just sip down a nice warm cup of water or green tea.  That has been helping me get through these last couple of days.

I have been watching my gf's kids last week, because their gramma was in the hospital.  It was fun, but busy.  Took them to the movies to watch "Monster's University".  It was a fun movie, but I found myself trying to remember the previous movie "Monster's Inc", since it came out so long ago!  I was thinking that I'd better go find that DVD and play it to see if I can "match up" the movies together.  We also had a water day, and then a day for just relaxing and doing nothing.  Summer is here.  There are so many things to do, but I want to not spend so much money doing it.  And when we are out n' about, we always end up going through the drive thru, and getting something quick, or somewhere else to pick up bento lunches. Here is a pic of the kids at the movie theater.

On Saturday, I attended my 2nd week of Watercolor Painting class. I am loving it, and learning a lot of techniques that we also do in the stamp world, and can also be applied to stamping.  Can't wait to share some of them.  Last week, we did a painting of a vase with flowers.  There wasn't anything for us to follow, the teacher said to just paint a vase that we had in mind, and the flowers to flow through.  I was thinking tulips, but not quite tulips... here's my painting from last week.  I am still working on the painting from this past Saturday's class, so I am not ready to post it just yet.  I wanted to take this class to learn more about coloring and shadowing, but I see that my inner "drawing" skills are also coming out. :) The teacher is a sister in Christ, so makes it even more fun to learn from someone I know.  She does a lot of Hawaiiana artwork.  If you are interested in checking out her artwork, or perhaps would like to invest in an artwork of hers, and hang it up in your house, you can visit and view them at www.artworkbyannhawaii.com.

After church on Sunday, I was planning on having my sister visit and check out my pond.  Well, I also invited Ann and her family, and then my brother in Christ, Joshtin and his roommate.  We had a good enough spread of Steak, Chicken, Salads and Fruits.  But the Portabella Mushrooms were a hit.  It was such a blessing to have a BBQ, and it forced the family to clean the house!!  AMAZING! I should have a BBQ every weekend if that is the case!  :)

Now it is another week, and I am in search of challenges out there.  So that my creativity mojo can continue to flow.  Today I am sharing with ya'll this adorable frame that I decorated for the wedding I worked on.  The frame was a surprise from the bride's mother and father.  I used a free SVG that I found on SVG.com.  Here is how it turned out:

The font is called "Cheri" font, and I downloaded it from a free site, and cut them all on my eClips machine using the eCal program.  :)  This was a very sweet project I got to work on.  Praise God!!  Cardstock, and Pearls are from Stampin' Up!

Time to start my day... hope you have a blessed week.  Aloha!!
