Little C's Create a Card Challenge: A Trio of Summer Fun Colors

Good Morning Crafters!! It is time for another Little C's Create a Card Challenge. This month is the last month that we'll be having the Little C's Challenge Blog up n' running. After the end of the month, there will be no challenges. I will however continue to post a the Tuesday challenges on my blog, as well as the Scrappin' Saturday Challenges here too. I will have a pleasant surprise for all of you come August 1st. =0)

Ok, on to the challenge. This week's challenge it to create with a trio of Summer Fun Colors. Orange, Green n' Blue always feels so Summery, doesn't it? I thought these were fun colors to work with, so I hope you do too!! Check out the Little C's Challenge blog, and come and play with us this week.

For my project, I wanted to do another Peek-A-Boo card. It was so easy to create and all the cutting and measuring is already done for me, using my Cricut machine and Design Studio. I posted the tutorial to put this card together in yesterday's post, so check it out. The image is from The Greeting Farm, which you can purchase at Pineapple Cove. DSP is BoBunny, and cardstock is from Stampin' Up!. I also used stickers to decorate this card. I colored the image with Copic Markers. The rubber stamp sentiment on the inside is from Stampin' Up!, and the chipboard sticker is from Bazzill Basics.

Well, we have a busy day today, and I hope you are keeping busy yourself. God Bless and have an enjoyable week!!!

Aloha,
Jen

Little C's Challenge: Candy & Pink: A DS & GYPSY Cut File

Aloha All!! I'm late on my Little C's Challenge this week! Getting off to a late start, because of the long holiday weekend. =0) I had such a great time with my hubs. So sad that he had to go back to work on Monday, but what an awesome quality time we had together.

Well, this week on Little C's challenge, the theme is Candy n' Pink. There is an inspiration pic that we are to be inspired by. The picture shows lots of candies n' plenty of pink, that's why I say Candy n' Pink. I opted to create this adorable Coffee Bag that Marcia shared with me, which I changed the design of it a little. I have both .cut and .gypsy cut files available, which you can download either one by clicking on the "Fun Cuts" link, and you will find this cut under "Bags, Boxes & Favors".

My friend Charlotte actually colored this image, which is an image from Two Scoops Rice Designs. I took my Copic Markers to church during our 1st Saturday Family Night Service, and was teaching a couple of the sisters how to color with these markers. Charlotte was a 1st time coloring girl. LOL... So, she colored, and put it back into my bin. I am finishing it up, and used it on today's project, and will later give this to her so that she can see how pretty how colored image turned out to be. She wasn't so sure she did a good job, but I told her she did a FAB-U-LOUS job!! The flowers are from All Natural Accents. I also used Liquid Pearls {Raspberry} to add a little pearlescent dots around the circle. The acetate plastic that I used to cover the circle is from my Cricut cartridge casing. Yep - Thought they'd make great use for my window type projects. Will have to make more of these. =0)

Oh! BTW - just wanted to do a shout out to ManLe of Pineapple Cove, and Thank her for helping me with the frame around my pic. Turns out that something so easy seemed so hard to do, until she showed me the right place to look. Thanks, Sister!!

Well, if you wanna play along with us this week @ Little C's, be sure to stop on by and check out the details. Check out what the other Diva's created as well... Maria & MacKenzie.... Hope you get a chance to play. I had so much fun, and it makes it so much easier to create with a challenge in mind.

Have a blessed hump day!!

Big Hugs,

Jen

Little C's Create a Card Challenge: Laughter in a Room

Good Morning!! It is time for another Little C's Challenge!! We're having so much fun with the pictures selected to entice our creativity palette. Here is this week's challenge picture...

Here is my creation. I decided to go with the color combo and to add a little "Laughter" on it, because of that "Laugh" enclosed in the shelf. Oh my - you should see the other Diva's cards - they came up with pretty neat ones too!!

For my card, I used a Fred, She Said digi image. I colored her with my copics. I used buttons to embellish - I just love them buttons, but I know I need to use more of other things. I also added a cute lil' butterfly charm that I thought would go great with this darlin' image, because of her wings. I did forget to add some sparkles tho' - that would've been a nice touch. The sentiment is a Digi Freebie, which I found here. I used a QK's Oval to cut, then cut around it with my Decorative Scissors {{mini scallops}}. The frame around the image is a cut from my Cricut, using A Child's Year cart. That cart I found has a bunch of frames that could be used as layers and frames. I definitely believe that cart was one well spent on.

Well, I hope you wanna play along, and if you want to, come and join us at the Little C's Challenge Blog, and create, upload n' post.

This week, my boys are off to Vacation Bible Study. It is a fun filled week where a bunch of kids have lots of fun playing sports, games and fellowship with one another, all while learning about the Love of God. When they came home yesterday, they were so pooped, that they took their baths, and went to take a nap. CY4 slept for 4 hours, while Cy slept through the entire night!! What a great time they had, and for me, I went shopping for snacks n' house stuff @ WalMart with my Sis, Cat. She n' I had a great time - although we went to get just a pack of Pull Ups for her lil' one, we ended up with a FULL cart! LOL... that surely wasn't my intention!!

Well, looks like we're going to have a fun and busy week, and I hope you are having a great time as well!! Time to go!!

Hugs,

Jen

Ohh La-La!!! Little C's Challenge

Good Morning Friends!! Sorry for the MIA action... I think I will be able to post again regularly. Just been overwhelmed with a lot of things... graduation, and then sorting out my craft area. I have a BIN FULL OF STUFFS that I purchased and haven't had a chance to use yet. So hopefully with my **NEW** venture of NOT having stamps to sell, I will be able to explore other stamps out there. YAY!!!

Ok, on to the challenge. It was supposed to be posted yesterday, but things just didn't work out that way. But it is posted today, so be sure to check it out. Here's what you need to do, check out the Little C's Challenge Blog, and see the picture that is to inspire you to create. Then create whatever it is that you want to, and join us in on the fun!!

Here is what I came up with....

This nurse is so sexy, ya? I got this "Cheeky Nurse" from my girlfriend, ManLe who owns a store, both online and on Oahu (in the Kahala district - @ Kahala Mall), called Pineapple Cove. Click on the links to check out the latest arrivals that she got in. This past Monday, I got together with ManLe and some of our other friends, for fellowship n' crafting. It was a fun day, our potluck theme was "Mexican". Although I am not a huge fan of Mexican food, I have to tell ya, the spread was ONOLICIOUS! Claudie made fruit salad, and I have a thing for fruit salad, it makes me whimper with delight!!! Hee heeee.... Thanks Claudie for that delish fruit salad. I should've taken some home, cause I can really use a cup right about now. =0) Anyways, I will share pics from that day on another day... I have to catch up with my postings here. But this one is just for the challenge.

I hope you like the challenge. Enjoy and create with us. There is a RARE TGF stamp set up for grabs for the winner of this week's challenge. So be sure to check it out.

God Bless!!

Today's Verse: "Trust In the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." {Proverbs 3:5-6}

My Creation for Last Week's Little C's Challenge...

Hey Gang! Happy Summer, ya'll!!! Happy Summer for me! Today is the beginning of the "real summer days", because it is the 1st day that both my boys are home from school together. YAY!!! I have still so much to do tho'. No slacking in this household. Have so much things that I want to change around this house, and I want to get it where I don't have to look at so much clutter!!! Ugh! Anyways, I hope to be catching up with my crafting as well, and posting all the projects I made for Cy's graduation, so be sure to check back this week to see what was created.

Here is the card I created for last week's Little C's Challenge, which was to be inspired by the Ice Cream photo shown here. The colors I just loved so much, so I tried to stay with that. But something YUMMY also caught my mind, so I had to just throw in a yummy image as well. I went with a Magnolia image, holding a cupcake, which was actually colored by my fellow Glama Gurl, Jodie. I love the soft colors that she used, which she colored with Copic Pens. Thanks Jo!!

Today is the last day to try and take on the challenge, it ends in about 9 hours, and a new challenge will be posted tomorrow. So if you wanna try - head on over to the Little C's Challenge Blog right now and check it out! Have fun and enjoy!!

Verse To Share: "An Excellent wife is the crown of her husband, But she who causes shame is like rottenness in his bones" {Proverbs 12:4}

Have a blessed week....
