Throwback Thursday Challenge #TTC009

Greetings Happy Crafters!!!  It's Throwback Thursday Challenge Day!!!  We are on #TTC009!!  Whooooo Hoooooo!!!! I am semi-late with this post. Created this card only this morning. Been posting some of my projects to ETSY, so have been quite busy!!!

Ok, on to our winner from last week's challenge... here's the winning card:

Created by Nazeema:

Thank you Nazeema! Please email me with your mailing address, and I will mail out a prize to ya!! Thank you all of those that participated.  There were some awesome submittals! Loved seeing them all!!

For this week's challenge, here is my sample project.  I believe the stamps with many "Thanks" on it is from Stampin' Up!, and the "Many Thanks" stamp is from Hero Arts. It was a pretty easy card to make, that's why I was able to complete it this morning..

I am submitting this card to the following challenges:
  • Faith Hope Love Throwback Thursday Challenge - Any Old Stamp Will Do!

Now it's your turn to play along... there is no theme to this challenge, simple create a project using a stamp that is older than 2014, or has been retired.  Just that... it's to inspire you to create with your oldie but goodie stamps, and not just let them sit (like I have).  :)

Here is the link up for your URL's... have fun and I look forward in seeing what you create and link up this week!!! Aloha, Jen

Throwback Thursday Challenge #TTC008

Aloha! Sorry for the late post of this challenge. I have been hit with the "no-mojo" bug and this week has been going "meh" for me. Sometimes I just don't have the urge to create anything and my mind is just unsettled. I don't know what it is, just couldn't get into the "grove" or "mood". Whatever it is, I wish I could just shake it off.

Well, it's time for another Throwback Thursday Challenge. We are on #TTC008 already.  Here is last week's winning project, created by Donna:

Congratulations, Donna!! Thank you all again for playing along, I hope you will join me again this week.  Here is my project for this week's challenge sample.  I used an entire retired stamp set from Stampin' Up!. I came across this set, and thought how easy it would be to slap together. But believe me, as little mojo I had this week I had a hard time putting it together.  But I made it... and here they are:

Do you remember this set? Do you own it still?? LOL... I don't know how old this set is, nor I remember what the name of the set was. I've unmounted the stamps from it's wood, and mounted to cling foam, so it's stored together with the rest of my other stamps. Oh well. I know it's an old set, thus qualifying for a TTC project.  :)

It's now your turn to play along... looking forward to seeing your creations!!! Aloha, Jen

Throwback Thursday Challenge #TTC007

**2nd Post of the day.  Please scroll down to view my project that I created for The Greeting Farm's Challenge**

Happy Thursday Y'all!!!  It's time for another Throwback Thursday Challenge!!  Our winner from last week's challenge was this card, created by:

Thank you all for playing.  Please email me with your mailing address Cre8iveCindy, and I will mail out your prize to you.

On to my sample card... I went with a Clean & Simple sample for this week's challenge.  Infact, I CASED this card off of someone on the net. I wanted to use this stamp set, because it has already retired, and I haven't even ink'd it up! Pfft! Shame on ME! Well, it's nearly 1:30 am, and I just wanted to get something done quickly and since I didn't ink this set up before, thought I'd kill two birds with 1 stone.

Told ya it's pretty simple. :)  Now it's your turn to play along.  Simply create with a stamp that is older than 2014 or is already retired.  Looking forward to seeing your projects this week.  Thanks again for taking the time to play along.

Aloha, Jen

Very cute card, Faith!! Please email me with your mailing address, and I will pop your prize in the mail.  Thank you all that submitted your work. Love seeing all the projects created with our oldies but goodies.  Please continue to create with them.  They need just as much loving from us, and not having to just hang around in our drawers.  :)  On to this week's challenge...

Here is my sample project for this week... I am using stamps from Hero Arts. Had this set sitting around doing nothing.  FINALLY got a chance to use it.  A friend of mines moved into a new home, and it's just her and her doggie. I am praying that the Lord is allowing her to experience her surrounding like she's never experienced before, and that her quite time spent with him is even richer than before. I paper pieced the cottage... had a lot of fun creating this card.  Especially with the rolling hills.  :)

I am submitting my project to the following fun challenges:
Now, it's your turn.  Here is the Mr Linky to add your url.  Thanks again for playing along.

Throwback Thrusday Challenge #TTC004

Aloha and welcome back to another Throwback Thursday Challenge here at Creating in Faith, Hope and LOVE!!!!!  I hope your week is going well.  Can't believe it's already Thursday!  This day comes around so quickly!! I'm in the middle of working on a 120 count wedding invitation, and haven't had much time to create anything.  It's making me S-A-D.  But I did take some time off from working on them to create the sample project I needed for today's post.  But first, let's figure out who the winner of last week's challenge was... drum roll please... here's what random.org came up with:

The #6th card belonged to:
 ~Belinda Baker~
Here is Belinda's card....

Thank you Belinda for playing along with us, please send me your mailing address, and I will get your prize out to you. Thank You all for playing along.  It was so neat to see everyone's submitted project.

Now on to this week's challenge... first our prize for the week is this adorable, brand new, still in package, Sarah Kay clear stamp.  The stamp is a little discolored, however, I can assure you that it's quality of stamping is superb! Can't really see her face, but it really is an adorable stamp.  She is carrying loads of gifts that could possibly be for Christmas or any other special occasion.

Here are the challenge rules:

  1. Use any retired stamps or stamps that are older than last year.
  2. Post your project to the web.
  3. Link back to this blog post.
  4. Add the link to your blog post or projects photo to the Linky Tools box below.
  5. If you are out of the US, you are welcome to still submit your work, however, at this time, the challenge prize is currently open to only US residents, or US Military Residents residing outside of the US (with APO addresses).
  6. Have Fun!!!!
and here is my sample I created...

I don't know where the cherry blossom stamp is from, the sentiment is from Hero Arts. But both have been in my stash for over many years now.  So I know that they are Throwback's.  But I have to say something that I'm excited about.  I have been seeing so many stitched dies out there, and I wanted to get a hold of few, or some, or ALL!! I just could decide, there are so many.  Anyways, to my surprise, I was able to create some stitched cuts with my eCal program!!  Oh My GOSH!!!!  I'm so excited about this.  You see the stitched border on my card's edge too?  That came from my eCal as well. SO Happy and thrilled that I don't have to invest in the basic shaped dies, and I can spend my money on the other dies that I can't create with my eCal.  Yay! Go ME!!!  Thank You, JESUS!!!!  Oh, I also used my new Wink of Stella pen on this stamp.  It is so worthy of sparkles... and the Wink of Stella Clear did just what I needed it to do!!!!  :)

I am submitting my project to the following challenges:

Ok, your turn to play along...

Aw, I had so much coloring this one.  It's the 1st time I've used it, and it's a Whipper Snapper stamp that I've purchased several years ago.  I can't believe I've waited this long to use it. But I guess this challenge is even helping me to use my hoarded collection of stamps, and that's a good thing!!!  :)  I colored the image with my Copic Sketch Markers, sentiment stamp is from Hero Arts. Pretty simple card.

I am submitting my card to the following fun challenges out there:

Throwback Thursday Challenge #TTC001 and FREEBIE

Welcome and thank you for joining me today for my new "Throwback Thursday Challenges".  This is the last of masculine birthday cards I had to make for my card order.  Last week, while working on Mother's Day cards, right in the middle of it, I had the crazy desire to want to re-arrange my craft area.  Thus, I stopped what I was doing, and started rearranging, going through my stuff, and just tidying!!  I found a lot of old stamps, and thought how neat it would be to have a "Throwback Thursday Challenge", as it'll inspire me to use my retired or old stamps that I haven't used in a while. Plus I found all sorts of fun things that I can give away as prizes!!  So here we go!!!  But first, I also wanted to offer a FREEBIE sentiment with this challenge.  You don't have to use it.  But you can most definitely add it to your collection!!!  Here is your freebie (click on it, right click, and save to your computer):

OK, now on to the challenge....

So, here are the rules to this challenge...
  1. Use any retired stamps or stamps that are older than last year.
  2. Post your project to the web.
  3. If posting to gallery, use #TTC001 as the tag
  4. Link back to this blog post.
  5. Add the link to your blog post or projects photo to the Linky Tools box below.
  6. At this time, this challenge is currently open to only US residents, or US Military Residents residing outside of the US (with APO addresses).
  7. Have Fun!!!!

Here is the prize for this week's challenge.  Winner and NEW challenge begins every Thursday. Hope you have some time to play along!!!!  Our first prize will be this adorable stamp, mounted on cling foam.  It is a Brand NEW in package CC Designs stamp called "Baby Tricks or Treats":

Here is my Throwback Thursday card creation.  The background, stamps and star punch are super old n' retired. LOL... do you remember that background stamp??  I so loved it when it first came out, and hung on to it, like FOREVER!!!

Before I post the linky box, wanted to share with you the before and after photos of my craft area... here they are.  This is my area before I re-arranged it.  There are things all over the floor, because I brought them out, and sorted through it, seeing what can go and what can stay.

Here's is the table that I do the majority of my stamping on.  I've moved my ink pads to this table, no longer is it near my window.  Now I can open my window and have better air flow, on windy days.  I am also making use of my wall display ink pad holder. Have a bunch of old ink pads (Stampin' Up!), before they went "juicy" and held on to them "just in case".  Glad I have that holder to hold all of these.  There were on the floor in a package prior to being sorted away!

My table of electronics... my computer, cricut, eClips, and printers are on the opposite side of my craft table.  I need a new table cloth... I know

My craft area, this is actually the dining room of my house.  Blessed that my hubby allows me to have this section of the house as my craft area.  The electronic table wasn't that much tidy when this picture was taken.

Here is the first corner of my craft area that I fixed.  After fixing this area, I was so pumped to finish the entire area. Crazyness!!

Those are my pictures... thanks for peeking through them.  You can now join my challenge, and post the link to your project here.  Happy Crafting and looking forward in seeing what you come up with!!!  Go get them oldies but goodies out to play!!!
