Himawari Babies Creations

Hey All... today, I have some Himawari Babies creations to share with you. With Halloween right around the corner, I know that a lot of you are celebrating by giving out little goodie bags to your friends, family, co-workers, and I hope to share some ideas that you might want to make using Himawair Babies images.

My 1st project here is a simple bag that I cut with my X using a bag cut from "Tags, Bags, Boxes n' More" cartridge. I hand cut the image of Frankie, and simply adhered him to my nestie cut outs with foam tape. Real simple n' easy to do. The treat that went into this lil' bag is a .58 oz container of Wrigley's Doublemint Mintcreme. Kinda small in size, but huge in taste - that actual size of this is 1-1/2" in width, 2-1/4" in height, and 5/8" thick.

Here are more pics of different angles.... as you can see, I had to take a sample of what this mint tasted like.

This 2nd project, I actually recycled the acetate box that I used. It actually came from an American Craft box full of 6 ribbons. I figured I could recycle by creating a top n' bottom cover, and then adding a Himawari Babies image - this one I believe is called "Lil' Eddie", he was inspired by that dude from Twilight. I used my Copics to make his face a little more grayer than what it originally was, and I recolored his vest, as well as added some hair lines to make it more defined, and added a "mint" of color in his eyes - I did this to also share with you how you can manipulate and change the coloring of the original image.... I also added some red stitched grosgrain ribbon around the top cover of the box.

This last project here is a project that I also made on my Cricut, and named this cute favor bag thingy which was inspired by my gf Claudette - I even named it after her, it's call "The Claudie Bag" and you can find the cut file here for downloading (on my Cricut Blog). I have 2 cuts, one for those that have the smaller cricut, and another that also has the X, so check out the blog, and be sure to download the one you can use. I used this Himawari Babies image, because it went perfect with the colors on the DSP that I used....

Hope you've enjoyed today's projects.... here is a picture to share with you today.... it is a picture of one of the lagoon's out at Ko'olina, I think we took this pic sometime at the ending of August. It was a nice quiet and beautiful day....

May you have a beautiful day as well...

God Bless,

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long #36

Woooo... the year is really going by quickly, and Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog is helping us all create our Christmas cards for the end of the year. Well, this week, our challenge is to create with 2 different stamps from 2 different stamp companies.... I didn't make a card, instead, I made a cute Pizza Box, which I got the instructions from Splitcoast Stampers. So easy to create, and so fun to make. Infact, this was the same project, well sorta, that I had the GG's do this weekend. I just used a different sentiment. Well, 1st here is the pizza box that I created for the CSAYL challenge... and I must apologize for the semi-blurry pic. My Sony camera went "ka-putt" on me, and will need to be repaired. In the meantime, I am going to have to use the camera on my cell phone. It's just a lil' fuzzy, but I think it's good enough for now.

The deer image is a Greeting Farm stamp, which you can get here. The Tree Sentiment is actually a Hero's Art stamp. Deer was colored with my Copics and sticklez were added to the tree. The DSP is 3 Bugs in a Rug, and can also be found here.

Below is a pic of the box that the Glama Gurlz did yesterday...

This weekend was a busy weekend for Us Youngs. On Friday night, my hubby n' his the boy's Godfather went to their 20th reunion at Oceans 808, while I went with the boy's Godmother to dinner along with her sister. We later met up with the guys after our long relaxing dinner together - Cy caught the cold that CY4 and I had/have, on Sunday we attended their reunion's "Family Fun Night" at Moanalua HS's cafeteria, and then we headed to Alley Katz for some Karaoke fun - oh what a night!!! On Sunday my Glama Gurlz came over, and that was so much fun hanging out talking stories and EATING!!! Also on Sunday, our puppies came home!!!! Yes, we were patiently waiting on 2 puppies to come home to us, since our friends couldn't take care of them, and they've finally came home.... so you can imagine the air of excitement there is amongst the kiddies.... We got 1 boy and 1 girl.... we named the girl "Cammie", and the boy "Cristian"... we love our "C's" don't we?! LOL.... well, I've posted some pics below, which we took with my cell phone and laptop cameras... so once again, pardon the blur...

Thanks for looking, have a wonderful blessed week!!!

Aloha,

Cy's 1st Day of School

Hey There.... yep, I'm finally posting some pics from Cy's 1st day of school. Kinda late, but better than never, right?! He went back to school on the 1st of September, and he requested tags to be made for his personal items, such as his back pack, his water bottle and his lunch bag. The character that he wanted was "Wyatt" of "Super Why". Such a fun character, and a great educational show for kids to watch n' learn how to read. Here are what the tags turned out looking like, he was so proud to have them on his things.

Don't know if you know, but I sell these personalized luggage tags!! You wouldn't believe all the adults out there that order these tags for themselves!!! It's too cute!! Although on my website, I feature only Himawari Babies images, I can put any other images on there as well... such as Hello Kitty, Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, Spider Man, Super Man, Wonder Woman... and the list goes on, n' on, n' on.... check out the Personalized Luggage Tags on Little C's, and order one for you or your loved ones today!!.

Here are some pics I took of my shorty on his 1st day of school.....

Yes, and on the 1st day, he already had homework.... sigh, he's growing up so quickly!!

Have a blessed week, everyone!!! Sorry I've been MIA lately. Been really trying to get on my Little C's store, and bring it up to date... and just trying to get organized here in my home. It's kinda crazy with both kids in school now - although it is quiet, there is soooo much to do around the house. Hopefully I can finish up and finally settle down and start creating with just having to do laundry n' dishes daily instead of always cleaning. ACK! Ok... for those of you that have emailed me and haven't heard back - I will be replying to you shortly. Especially YOU!!!

Big Hugs n' Blessings,

A Date With My Hubby....

Hello My Friends,

This past Saturday night, my hubby n' I went out on a date. The morning of, I cut off 22" of my hair. I plan on sending my hair off to Locks of Love, so that wigs can be made out of them to hopefully help those suffering from any diseases that causes hair loss. I have about 20" of previous cuts made years ago. I always save my hair in pony tails when I cut them, and I was wondering if LOL would take my previously cut hairs. Sure enough, when I checked their website, I found out that they do take hair cuts from years ago, as long as it is in a pony tail and not chemically changed. So now, my hair goes down to the middle of my back. Very short for me, considering how long it was (which was way pass my okole).

So, this date my hubby and I had, it was planned spontaneously. My mom was and is always so willing to watch my little ones, and it's such a blessing to have her around to do so. Our last date night together was at the beginning of the year, and I can't believe how quick time has flown. It was sooo much fun!! We went to watch the movie "The Proposal" and then we went to dinner at Wolfgang Puck's restaurant located in Waikiki. It was so nice to spend time with my hubby.... after dinner, we strolled through Waikiki, and first walked through the Apple store and checked out some of their computer systems. Even stopped at one of the computers, to put up my blog!!! LOL.... We then headed to Cheesecake Factory to pick up a few slices for dessert to eat with the kids, later at home. After a fun romantic evening together, we picked up the kids from my mom's and lived happily ever after.

Here are the pics we took....

Me n' my hubby driving to the restaurant after the movie - while waiting at a traffic light...

Here I am with my short hair.... feels strange that hair is in FRONT of me, as when it was long it's weight kept it behind me all the time. =0) My head sure feels a lot lighter!!!

My sugar-pie hunny-bunch... the man God has blessed me with.
Our dinner... enjoying with a lil' bit of wine...

After dinner, before we went for a stroll through Waikiki.....
Passed through the Apple Store, and posted my blog up on one of the stations.... LOL!!!!
Oh.. and the yummy cheesecakes (all gone by now of course!!!).... this one called Stephanie's Red Velvet Cheesecake (this was my choice, and oh my, my... sooo sooo yummy!!!).

This is the Oreo Cheesecake, which we knew CY4 would love.

This is the Caramel Macnut Cheesecake. My hubby's choice....

The original....

We each took a little bit of each cheesecake and had a yummy time eating them on Sunday!! =0)

May you all have a wonderful n' enjoyable week... be blessed!!!
