Techno Stampers Sketch #300 - TSSC300

Aloha y'all... have been keeping busy here... house chores, and such... and planning our college tour trip to the mainland for my oldest son.  Our airline tickets have been purchased, so we are set to GO!!!  Anyways, I found some time to sneak in some paper crafting and created a couple of "Friendship" cards.   I was inspired to join in on this sketch challenge from Techno Stamper. Here is how the sketch looks like:

Geez, for the life of me... I can't remember what company this stamp is from.  I mean, I know it, it's at the tip of my tongue, but I just can't jot it down.  Duh!!!  Gonna have to post on FB and ask if anyone knows the name of this company. 

OK, just got info from my fellow crafty sister, Maria. She informed me that the name of the company is Pink Cat Studio.  LOL!!  Funny, it's been so long!!  Thank the Lord for social media, man!!  Stay tune... I have more Friendship cards to share this week....

Stamping Sensations July Sketch Challenge

Happy Aloha Friday, peeps!! 

Here's a card I finished this morning.  Thought I'd get it posted before the week comes to and end. I found a sketch on Allison's page, it is a sketch from Stamping Sensations July Challenge!!  Here is the sketch:

Yikes!! It looks like I forgot the square part in the middle of the sketch, huh??  It's ok, I'm just gonna try and enter it anyways.  

Here's what my card was created with: The image and sentiment that I am using on this project are both from Clear Digital Stamps.  The flower is from a digital set called "Josephine Clematis" and the sentiment is from a digital set called "Morning Devotions".  I wanted to color up a flower, and this one filled that craving!!  The Circle and Circle Deco Die Cuts are from Spellbinder.  The decorative border I cut on my eClips machine, which I found the border somewhere online.  The sentiment was punched out using a punch from Stampin' Up!, I believe it is called "Decorative Label" punch.  Then I hand cut another cardstock to border around it.  The Cardstock and DSP is also from Stampin' Up!  I colored the image with Copic Sketch Markers.  The lace ribbon was fr a friend, and the Pink satin ribbon from Stampin' Up!   Embellished with Dew Drops.

It was fun to follow a sketch and use as my guide to create this card.  So gonna go look for more challenges to play along with.  Hope your Aloha Friday is a great one and that you enjoy your weekend!!!  ALOHA!!!!

My 1st Saturated Canary Image - "Lovely"

Hey There!!  The other day, I came across an adorable little image... and then it led me to the site of Krista Smith's blog, Saturated Canary.  Love, Love, Love, Love her site!!  If you love Elisabeth Bell images, you will LOVE Krista's!!  I love them because they are CUTE and some are PRETTY, but I especially love them because they are digital, and I was able to get the images right after payment was made.  No waiting... not that I wouldn't wait for cute stamps... but ya, this one came a lot quicker than the mailed ones.  

I've decided to immediately play along with Saturated Canary's Challenge, which is to use the image "Lovely".  She is soooo PRETTY!!!  I used a sketch that I found on the The Sketchy Challenge blog.  You will see the sketch below.  And another challenge I am submitting this project for is to the Color Me Creative Copic Challenge which is  about **Gorgeous Brunettes**, which basically means to use your Browns and create a Brunette!!!

I really enjoy the way Alyce Keegan colors, so I am watching her You Tube video's and trying to adapt her coloring methods.  Still so much to learn, and am loving that I get to color along side her, while her video is going.  :)  Below is the details on my card.

This 2nd card, I used everything the same, except that I turned the sketch on it's side.  A slight difference, but still beautiful, right??
