Hello there... here are the cards I created for those that are part of my Birthday RAK Calendar. I had 1 card returned to me because they no longer lived at that address. I made these cards very simple n' sweet. I wanna keep to that style, so that I can multiply quickly and send out to celebrate these special days!!!

Birthday RAK

Happy Aloha Friday!!! It's the beginning of a new year, and I have all these ideas of what I want to do creatively.... One of them is to focus on getting the Birthday RAK going again. I've had it for several years now, but haven't paid much attention to it all last year. I really want to focus more attention on that, because I don't want to have to have to put an end to it. I'm going to try and send out a card to each birthday participant. If you are a member of the birthday RAK club, you can easily access the calendar by clicking on the calendar located on the side bar. I hope you will join in on the fun of creating birthday cards, and RAKing those that are celebrating their special day. I've already missed a couple of birthdays earlier this month, but I still plan on sending them a card to make up for the missed days. :o) In light of the birthday RAK club announcement, here are a couple of birthday cards I created a few months back, but didn't have the chance to post, til' now:

Happy Mail Day!!!!

WOWZer!!!! Yesterday was a Happy Mail Day for me!!! What a bunch of goodies in my mail box. Fun! Fun! Fun!!!!

First off, I'd like to share a Thank You card from my Stamping Sister and fellow Angel (my ^line) Nancy. She sent this card to thank me for the Blog Candy that she's won a couple of weeks ago (she was one of the recipients of my "Surprise Candy Giveaway". The second batch of goodies is from my Canadian Stamping Sister Allison!!! I won HER blog candy!!! I couldn't believe it!!! I entered my cards into her weekly challenge, and boy oh boy, I was the lucky gal to win this stash!!! Look at that bunch of ribbons!!! I was drooling over these very pretty ribbons she's sent me. She also sent me some antique frames, square frames, confetti, beads, a set of clear G Studio stamps (so cute!!!), birthday quote stickers, DS papers (those are perfect for the Spring season!!!! and my favorite colors too!!!!), and some created projects made by Allison too!!!!

Check out her card. Isn't it just fab?!?!?! I saw this card back on her blog... and I totally got a kick out of it then. Now it's MINES - I'm splendidly delighted!!! (hahaha, trying to sound English here). When I look at the ladies on her card, they totally look like us local chicks with attitudes (like titas!!)... one of 'em is saying "Wot?!?", the 2nd one saying, "Where You Wen Put 'Em?!?!" and the 3rd, "No Ack K!??!!".... hahaha, love that glitter ds paper too!!!!.

Allison also sent me this notepad which she covered ever so cutely!!! Isn't that kittie too cute?!?!?! Looks like it's about to pounce on that cute lil' snail, and the snail doesn't know what's coming..... I love it!!!

Thank you Allison!!! I'm so honored to receive your bunch of goodies!!!!

This second bunch of goodies is from my friend Cheryl - you know, the sexy one over at Life Is Sweet?!?! I made her a banner for her blog, and to my surprise - she sent me, oh my gosh, a totally surprise package!!!! This girl has hooked me up!!! She sent me the cutest Autumn Leaves stamp set that I've never seen so far (I've been behind on AL stuffs)... it's like a jungle set with monkeys, giraffe, a hippo, lion, birds and then trees, a vine... you gotta click on the photo to see a close up of this cute, cute, set!!!! She also sent me some BLINGS.. you know how I feel about blings.... these are the ones with adhesive on the back, so even better... a bunch of tags n' envies to go with them... oh my, and do you see those 3 CD's in the photos!???! Well, they are "top secret" programs, that I can't say what they are, cause pretty much not supposed to copy those programs.... so - hush-hush.... no can say nothing. Cheryl apologized to me in an email, for not creating and sending a Thank You card... but gee whiz... I'll settle for this bunch too, right ladies?!?!?!? tee hee....

Thank you sooo much Cheryl, I was totally tickled to receive your RAK!!!!

One last "RAK", some of you may already know - if you read my family blog (email me if you'd like access to it...), anyways... our house has grown by 4 feet!!! This lil' fella is a RAK from my hubby. His name is Ceasar, he weighs about 2 pounds 4 ounces. Here's photo to show you how small he is compared to the size of a card. The card in the photo was posted a couple of days ago.


I am totally stoked with ALL my goodies from these ladies!!! I am sooo looking forward in creating with all of the goodies!!! Big Hugs n' Smooches across the globe from me to you....

This Week's Digi Scrapbook Page & a RAK

I'm trying to fit in a day for my Digi SB Pages. Hopefully I'll be able to post one SB page once a week (yikes!!!!), well, I better not say that - I should just do it as I can, right!?! Ok, without wasting anymore "typing time" - here is my digi page.....

I used embellishments from my Memory Mixer program and from Scrapbook Wow downloads. Everything was put together with my Adobe Photoshop Elements program.

The sketch I used for this digi page is from LS #36 of Tamara's site, which is this week's layout sketch. These photos were taken back in January of 2007. I am trying to digi scrap the entire year 2007, and I'm still stuck in January - I better get a crackin' on these pages, yea!??!

I have another birthday RAK to share... it is a RAK from my stamping sister and fellow Spice Angel Corrina. She gave me a GC to get my nails done. So this is what I did. I had them do some French Nails, and lookie.... a Flower BLING on each nail. But the best part is.... the bling is MINES!!! I have these FOR SALE in my store (will add to my online store soon)... I have several different colors and sizes. I wanted to see how they'd look on my nails, and I gotta tell ya - they look pretty darn cute!! So Big Mahalo Kisses to Ms. Corrina... Do you like them, dahling?!?!?!

RAK's of the week....

Here are some RAK's I've received this week. Thank you ladies!! You are too kind!!!

From my friend Corie - such a sweet dahling card. The funny thing is, these stamps got no heads on them. Kinda like how I know Corie... we both don't know what each other looks like in person (only pictures - and pictures can be deceiving...hahahha!!!), but yea, she sent me this card for my birthday, and I totally love her color combo, and her thoughtfulness. Big Mahalos Corie!!

This card was made by my stamping sister and fellow Spice Angel - Jo!!! This is her 2nd birthday RAK to me. What a sweetie!!!! You make me feel so special, sister!!!! Thanks Jo!! The sparkles on the butterfly is just soo pretty. Of course I took a close up of it so that I can share with you the sparkles as well.

My photos seem kinda dark, don't they!?!? Well, my original background blanket is in the wash, so I'm using another blanket. That's probably why?!

Also, how do you like my new blog style?! I kinda like this "clean" look. I loved how my friend Cheryl's blog turned out after changing her template, and thought I'd do the same to mines. Also, the font on my blog is different. I loved the font from Charlene's blog. The font that I am using is called "Segoe Print". However, if you don't have this font downloaded on your computer, the font would simply look like the font "Georgia" to you. Anyways, thanks for pointing me in the right direction to getting my blog looking pretty snazzy Charlene!!!! I totally LOVE IT!!!!

Spring Break begins tomorrow..... the kids and I are looking forward to some fun days together. Cy and I are still ill, and hopefully it'll be a better week for us.

More Birthday RAKs to share....

Hello all.... hope you're having a great Wednesday. Cy is sick today with a 101 fever. He's sad and just moody. Laying around on the bed with rosie cheeks. I've never seen him this sick before.

Anyways, I haven't had the chance to create anything today - but here are more birthday RAKs that came in for me....

From Jo - Isn't this stamp cute?! I saw it at Cute Stuff's and by passed it... now I wish I got it. That's always the case, isn't it?!?!


This one is from Deb a.k.a Stampingranny... what a sweet card she made. I think the stamp is a "High Hopes" stamp which Lori and I are still trying to decide if we want to get some or not.... Deb also just celebrated her birthday on the 11th (yesterday). If you have a chance to go on over to site, please wish her a Happy Happy Birthday!!!


This adorable card is from Teri. Her card was actually a "Peek A Boo" card which she got the tutorial from Dawn located here. I am so going to try this one out - it's too stinken' cute. Teri also gave me some cute charms one that says "Angel" and the other says "Friend"...


Here are some goodies I received from Lori. That 6 in 1 tool will surely come in handy - can you image me carrying that in my purse all day, everyday? I wonder if they'd let me on the plane with it. I doubt it since it has an exacto knife on there too. Well all the other goodies will go to great use as well. Oh, and Lori celebrated her birthday on the 10th too!!! So, like Deb, if you have a chance, please visit her site to wish her a happy happy birthday!!!!


This card here isn't actually a Bday RAK, but a Thank You card from Cami. She gave me this card to thank me for placing her TAC order. What a sweetie she is. Cami doesn't have a blog of her own. But she lives right up the street from me... and we've met through blogland.

Thank you all again, for such beautiful creations. I am blessed and honored to have all of you in my life.
