Pics of Projects Created For Craft Fair

Ok, here are more projects I created for the Craft Fair I did last year @ Calvary Chapel. I had a lot of fun at this one, because 2 of my bestest friends attended this craft fair with me.... Barbara n' Rose. =0) What a fun day it was. My hubby also brought down my boys, so it was nice to see them that day. I also saw my favorite girl, Rina and her family, Janine, Gina (whom I've met through Facebook, and who was just so happen to be visiting the islands, so she decided to stop by n' meet me in person - what a blessing!!!), Ms. Gloria, My Ali-Gurl n' her family... and oh gosh.... so much people from church and some not from church stopped in to purchase or just to say "hi". It was just so sweet to see them all, and they made the day even brighter!!! Thanks Sisters!!! BTW the photo of us was taken using the "self timer" on the camera. LOL... I love doing that!!! =0)

Here is a pic of my booth all set up. Those things in the back are wrestling mats. We were in the gymnasium. A local wrestling team meets there weekly.

My Cy-Cy with a balloon parrot on his shoulder. It's his 2nd parrot, as the 1st one lost it's head (we couldn't have him walking around with a headless parrot). =0)

Daddy n' Cy-Cy enjoying the lunch they had at the fair... hmmm - I think it was Hot Dogs n' Hamburgers? I see that Cheetos bag... yummm!!!

Ok, here are my projects... decorated covered composition books. They were a hit!!!

This Hippo is from Pink Petticoat, a company that offers digital images via online. Check it out, she has all types of cute stuffs. This Hippo is one of them.... I colored her with my Copics, and the flower is from Fred She Said, another digital image company. The flowers were pre-colored, so when I printed it I didn't have to worry about how I was going to color it.

Here is another image from Pink Petticoat.

Again, the flower that I used to accent it with is from Fred She Said.

The image on this notebook is from Elisabeth Bell's collection... I just adore this artist!!
I colored this image with my Prisma Colored Pencils... Flower is from Fred She Said.

This image is from The Greeting Farm, flower is from Fred She Said... I colored her with my Copics.

Hello Kitty... I colored her with my Copics as well...

Another Fred She Said image... I think I colored her with my Copics and matched the colors on her dress as close as possible to the colors of the DSP.

Here are Hello Kitty note pads with pen. They are Sizzlit Hello Kitty die cut which also embossed. I sanded the cardstock on the left to get that look.

Here is a close up of all the handmade items on my table. The Hello Kitty were all cut from my Cricut X. I used vinyl for them to stick on the plastic containers.

Here are some coffee holders, which I cut out a dove symbol of on my Cricut X using the SCAL program.
Okie dokie... that's about it....

Prayer Request: Please pray for my girlfriend, whose dog recently lost her life to old age. She misses her terribly. Please pray for peace and comfort on her heart. Thank You and God Bless!!!

Much Hugs,

Tin Project

Hello There!!! Here is a project that I had the Glama Gurlz do sometime in 2009. LOL!!! Sorry that I am posting this one soooo late... I got this idea from my Maria of Stampin' Inspirations. Thanks Maria!!!

The images are digis from Nancy Kubo. DSP is from TAC. The GG's had a lot of fun creating this one.

It is a tin can, on the inside a calendar, and a flower with a magnet behind it, also a pen and post-it note pad. Great for anyone's desk.

Prayer Request: Please continue pray for those in Haiti. That families are reunited with their lost ones and pray for healing and comfort on those that have lost their loved ones. Thank You and God Bless!!!

Hugs,

Today's Verse - simply put... even tho' the chips may be down in your life, have faith in knowing God will save us all!!:

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

Cricut Overload This Weekend!!

Happy President's Day Everyone!!! Aside from all the cricut use this weekend on the baby album, I also used it for 2 more projects that I did this weekend. This first project was covering a container to make into my newly found "sugar" container. Charlie our sugar container to work, so I took this cookie container that was filled with royal creme cookies - they were the miniature kine. I love those. They were gone in several days, shortly after our aunty Terri Kishba dropped them off to us. So what better way to recycle the container, and I thought if I prettied it up, it wouldn't even be noticeable that it was previously a cookie container.

So, I got some DS paper from my stack of papers, and used my cricut to cut out the letters "S-U-G-A-R". I then pasted it on to the ds paper, and adhered to the container. After doing that, to insure that the paper doesn't get worn out - I coated it with modge podge. Now when we grab for the container, it shouldn't get ruined, nor should the paper peel off.

The last photo is to show you how a coat of modge podge made my project water proof! The cricut cartridge that I used for this project is called "Alphalicious". I was thinking about adding some ribbon to the cover, but then talked myself out of it, being that it is something that will be touched practically every morning, that ribbon would've just worn off.

My second project was to create signs for the fund raising event that Chazz had this weekend. We're fund raising for 6th Grader's Project Graduation and Banquet. I can't believe it!!! I never had "Project Grad" or a "Banquet" in the 6th grade. My times have changed!!! We were selling drinks this weekend... Juice, Water, Soda & Cookies. I was assigned to create the signs. So I made 1 for the cookies, the other for the drinks. Here are what they turned out like. I added glitter to the letters of the drinks sign. Since the function would be running into the night - I figured any glimpse of light shining on that glitter would attract the attention of thirsty people!! And it worked!!! We made about $500+, which is pretty good!!!! Our goal is $1000. So, looks like we're half way there. I used the Cricut Cartridge "Alphalicious" on these signs as well. After the function, the signs were kept - and will be reused at their Banquet to share with all of them the hard work that the 6th graders put in to get the party of their year!!

On the cookie sign... get this - I take it there, and then find out that it is actually 6 scripts, and not 3 scripts that is needed to purchase a bag of cookies. At first, I was going to peel off the 3, and then write in a 6. But what I did was tear the 3 in half, and took the bottom part of the 3, and just added a little curve, creating a "6". It was a smaller number, but at least I didn't have to ruin my sign by writing on it. I was so proud of myself that night, and the ladies there - who aren't crafty - were pretty amazed at what I came up with. Ahhhhh.... see, hanging out with papers all day served it's purpose. =0)

If you're not working today, have a great day off!!!
