"M" is for "Monster"

Aloha Crafty Crafters....

I am so sorry for not posting last week! Our friend's 7 month old baby boy passed away, and I was asked to make some projects for his memorial, so I was working on those, and really had absolutely no time to create anything else. I was blessed to have been asked to help them, but man, it was surely an emotional project to work on.

But, I am back... The Lord has given me that peace of knowing that that baby boy is rejoicing n' dancing around in Heaven, and just being in the Lord's presence, 24/7. Praise God!! Oh and THANK YOU so much to those that sent me messages and left me comments to check on me and see if I was OK.  Now it's back to projects and running this challenge....

First on who won the last challenge... thank you all who've participated. I loved looking at all of your work. I love "LOVE"... it was a fun theme. The winner of the last challenge is:

Thank You, Karen and everyone else for playing along. Karen, please email me with your mailing address, and I will get a prize out to you!!!

Thanks again for your patience. Looking forward in seeing what you create with me this week!!!

  2. How tragic - I am so very sorry to read about the loss of this little boy - I prayed for this family and asked for comfort to all going through the mourning process after I read this message. Jen - what a great testimony of your Christian Faith - and what a lovely way to show your love - time is so short on earth and from each day we never know what is going to happen - the Lord is certainly your strength during this time as I can only imagine the emotion you felt during this time of creating - I am sure everyone was blessed with your memorial items for the family- thank you again for another challenge and your monster card is so cute - happy you have some new toys to play with - God bless my sister in Christ - and Happy Dance for Karen for winning the prize!

  3. Congrats to the winner! I'm so sorry you had to experience the death of your friend's baby. I, too, have had this experience a few years ago through a friend. Probably the worst day of my life, seeing a small casket and the vacant look in the parents' eyes. I'm so sorry you had to go through this. Prayers for you and your friends.

  4. Having lost three babies myself, I can feel this pain. Our most tragic loss was our twin boys in 1985. They went to be with the Lord at 7 months and I miss them every day, even though it's 30 years later. I'm praying for their comfort in knowing he IS in the immediate presence of God Almighty. Thanks for my win. I will email you, Jen.
    Blessings,
    Karen Letchworth
