Goodness Gracious!!! How wonderful it is to have 10,000+ hits to my site. I gotta tell ya... I started my blog a little over 3 months ago - and when I first started it, I never thought that within 3 months, I would have well over 10,000 hits!!! You all know how to make a smal time island girl, feel at the top of the world!!! Having all of you consistantly visiting my site is truly an inspiration for me. I look forward to keep this blog going, keeping it interesting, fun and inspiring all at the same time, for myself and now for all of my you, my dear readers. You've all been so sweet, and kind with your comments, and I feel that I've got to know a lot of you very well through your artwork, your daily comments and your frequent emails. I just wanna thank you all for making me feel so special - and giving me the opportunity to show off my work and share my stories at the same time. I look forward to many many hits in the future...and I feel like this 10,000 hits is a milestone for me!!! Wowie!!! So girlfriends.... with that all being said.... here's what I have up for grabs:

Now here's what you gotta do. I did a lot of fun stuffs for the past Candi Pieces Giveaways, so I thought I'd put a little challenge into this one. I'm putting out a "Fashion Challenge". What you gotta do is find a piece of clothing within your wardrobe, and be inspired by the color combo that your piece of clothing holds.

Here is my sample:



I grab one of my Sexy Baby Phat's top.... and just love the colors on here. I choose my cardstock that matched, and went to work.

Below is a close up of the card itself, with a little patch of my clothing in there. I mostly used Cuttlebug stuffs on this one. The dots were created using my CB "Spots n' Dots" folder. The die cuts are all CB - from the alphabet set called "Olivia", I dotted the middle of the flowers with my white gel pen. The flourish is from SU!'s Baroque Motif's set (which I just received yesterday!!! Yay!!!), stamped in Chocolate Chip. I did some faux stitching by using the stamp from SU!'s "All In A Row"...and then dotted each point with my paper piercer. Can't really tell from the photos, but that's what I did.
