Our Women's Ministry at church held a "Paint Night" to celebrate 3 years of continued fellowship. It was such a fun time of fellowship and being creative. Here's how my painting turned out.... first...
I had to stop short because it was getting late.... but when I got home, I was inspired to finish the painting with some pan pastels and adding some yellow for shading and glow from the sunrise. Here's how my painting looked at the end....
Turned out really nice in the end, huh?? So, my advice for this painting creative, if you aren't happy with what you first created.... don't worry, just walk away... give it a couple of hours, or days... and then come back and look at it again, and add to where you think you would like to add to. In my top painting, the brush strokes on the islands gave me the idea of adding thicker black brush strokes with green to add to the island, and it totally made it pop out when it was done.
Such a fun evening. Thank You Lord, for allowing me the opportunity to paint with my fellow sisters in Christ! In Jesus' name, AMEN!!!!
Aloha,
Jen
